This course will teach digital image processing, in particular, concepts pertinent to machine
vision applications, with an emphasis on embedded systems implementation. It deals with
image enhancement and two dimensional filters related spacial and frequency domains. This
course introduces image segmentation which is a first step in image analysis. It also describes
object recognition methods used on images. This course deals about video processing in real
time and various implementation platforms like GPU, DSP and FPGA.
