HELENE DIOT
Born in 1987, Hlne Diot started the harpsichord at the age of 6 and never
stopped. In 2012, she obtained her Masters diploma with high mention in the
CNSMD of Lyon. She attended masterclasses with Pierre Hanta, Christophe
Rousset, Aline Zylberasch and Laurent Stewart. She has given many recitals
both as a soloist and continuo player in France and Europe. She performed
with orchestras under the direction of Leonardo Garcia Alarcon, Raphael
Alpermann, Patrick Ayrton and Fabio Bonizzoni. In 2012, she won the Third
Prize in the Competition of Bologna and, in 2015, was a finalist in the Bruges
Competition.
ILHAE KIM
Ilhae Kim studied harpsichord with Christine Schornsheim at the Hochschule
fr Musik und Theater Mnchen as well as with Christophe Rousset and
Masaaki Suzuki. She is now studying at the Hochschule fr Musik und
Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt (Konzert Examen, solist class) with Eva Maria
Pollerus and she got the scholarship from the Frankfurter Bachkonzerte.
As Basso continuo player, she worked at the Academy Hochschule fr Musik
und Theater Mnchen as Piano repetitor and at the Hochschule fr Musik
und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main for barock cello class(Kristin von
der Goltz), in Vielklang festival masterclass of Petra Mllejans as harpsichord
repetitor.
DUSAN TOROMAN
Duan Toroman received a graduate degree in piano performance in his native
Serbia. After studying the fortepiano for three years at the renowned Imola
Piano Academy (Italy), he enrolled at the Conservatory G. Rossini in Pesaro,
where he is currently finishing his harpsichord studies in the class of Maria
Luisa Baldassari. A versatile musician, he complements his work as a soloist
with playing in various chamber music ensembles and working as a vocal
coach. He also fulfils a lively concert schedule that has brought him to France,
Italy, Switzerland, Slovenia and Hungary.

AUGUST GUAN
August Guan completed his BA in Orchestral Conducting at the Central
Conservatory of Music, Beijing, where he obtained a distinction, and later co-
founded the Conservatorys Early Music Centre. He continued to study for his
MMus in harpsichord with Andrew Wilson-Dickson at the Royal Welsh College
of Music and Drama. Currently, he is finishing his PhD in eighteenth-century
English keyboard arrangements under the supervision of David Ponsford at
Cardiff University. August has performed at several international festivals
including the Beijing Music Festival and Gregynog Festival. He also frequently
gives concerts in Wales, both as a soloist and as a continuo player with the
Welsh Camerata.
EDYTA LAJDORF
Edyta Lajdorf is an MMus scholar at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama,
where she studies piano with Prof. Paul Roberts and Prof. Martin Roscoe, and
harpsichord with Prof. Carole Cerasi. Edyta completed her bachelors degree
at the Royal College of Music, London. Recently, she received the Donemus
prize in the Prix Annelie de Man in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (2015).
Edyta has performed internationally in the Czech Republic, United States,
Netherlands, Malta, Poland and in the United Kingdom at venues including the
Victoria and Albert Museum, St Martin-in-the-Fields and St. Jamess Piccadilly
Church.

LUBICA PAUROVA
Lubica Paurov studied harpsichord with Monika Knoblochova in the Czech
Republic from 2011-2013. In 2013 she began her studies at the University of
Performing Arts in Graz (Austria) with Michael Hell.
She works with several ensembles including Trio Il Temperamento, Baroque
Orchestra of KUG and Ensemble Hyacinth). As a soloist Lubica 1st prize in the
Martha Debelli competition (Austria), the Golden Award at Svirl International
Competition (Slovenia) and the Golden Award in the Chamber Music category
with her ensemble, Asian Furniture Design (AsFD). With AsFD she also won 3rd
prize at the Biagio Marini International Competition (Germany). She secured
2nd prize at the Premio Selifa competition (Italy) with Ensemble Con Grazia.

PETRA HAJDUCHOVA
Petra is a classically trained harpsichordist with a passion for a wide range of
musical genres. She completed her studies in 2011 at Trinity Conservatoire of
Music, London and was awarded a TCM Trust Scholarship and the Raymond
Russell Prize. Prior to coming to the UK, she was active on the continent as an
accompanist and also as an organist in Salzburg, having the rare privilege of
being Mozarts successor at St Peters Church. Since arriving in the UK, Petra
has been in high demand as a soloist, accompanist, orchestral and chamber
musician, and has worked for BBC Radio 3 and television.
MARTYNA KAZMIERCZAK
Fortepianist and harpsichordist Martyna Kazmierczak completed her
undergraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music with Carole Cerasi.
She is currently studying at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in the class
of Edoardo Torbianelli. In 2012, Martyna was awarded a scholarship for
the II European Academy of Early Music in Vannes, France. She has since
performed in numerous venues around the United Kingdom, as well as in the
Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Russia, France and Canada. Martynas
relationship with one of the worlds oldest piano manufacturers, John
Broadwood & Sons, led to recitals at the Finchcocks Musical Museum and
Buckingham Palace.

ALEKSANDRA EBROWSKA
Aleksandra ebrowska was born in 1988. A graduate in piano and harpsichord, she
is currently continuing her harpsichord studies and working on her PhD at Gdask
Academy of Music. She has performed several times with the Baltic Philharmonic, the
Sopot Chamber Philharmonic and the Gdask Academy of Music Chamber Orchestra.
She performed Henryk Mikoaj Greckis Concerto, Op. 40 with the Orchestra Hanza
Duo in the Grecki in Memoriam concert. She has taken part in master classes with
Aleksiej Orowiecki, Dina Yoffe, Tigran Alikhanov, Dalia Balsyte, Lilianna Stawarz,
Elbieta Stefaska, Aleksander Bonduryanski, the Moscow Trio, Marta Czarny-
Kaczmarska, Marek Toporowski, Sigiswald Kuijken, Denis Severin, Wadysaw
Kosiewicz and Christophe Rousset.
ZSOMBOR TOTH-VAJNA
The young early keyboard specialist Zsombor Tth-Vajna was born in Miskolc
and is today a leading figure of the young music generation of Hungary. . He
studied harpsichord at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music with Mikls Spnyi
where he graduated with the highest honours, and organ at the University of
Miskolc in his native city with Lszl Varga. He continued his studies at the
Sweelinck Conservatory, Amsterdam, with Jacques van Oortmerssen (organ),
Menno van Delft (clavichord, harpsichord) and Richard Egarr (harpsichord,
fortepiano). He also holds a degree in general medicine from the Semmelweis
University, Budapest.
JACK BROOKES
Jack grew up in Birmingham, and studied piano and flute from the ages
of seven and ten respectively. Attaining his grade 8 piano in the spring of
2012, he was accepted as a piano student at Birmingham Conservatoire, and
studied for three years under Katharine Lam. Jack changed to harpsichord in
2015 and is currently studying for his final year. He has recently co-founded an
early music consort - the Midlands Academy of Early Music, and is presently
Assistant Director and Pianist to the BIMVC, Pianist for Arrow Vale Singers, and
a member of St Chads Cathedral Choir, Birmingham.

SOPHIE YATES
Sophie Yates was educated at Chethams School, the Royal College of
Music and the Sweelinck Academie, Amsterdam. Her professional
career was launched by winning the Bodky competition at
the Boston Early Music Festival. Since then she has become
well-known as a recitalist with special interest in French and
English repertoire and her particular interest in playing antique
instruments has enabled her to devise programmes for many
historical settings. Her series of twenty solo recordings on
Chandos has received critical acclaim and international awards. In
addition to her playing and teaching, Sophie has recently become an
occasional presenter of BBC Radio 3s Early Music Show.
ROBIN BIGWOOD
Robin Bigwood performs regularly as a solo harpsichordist and
continuo player, principally working with the Feinstein Ensemble and
Passacaglia. He has also appeared with London Baroque, Florilegium,
The Sixteen, Britten Sinfonia and many other ensembles, in the
UK, Europe and the USA. Recordings include albums on Naxos,
Linn Records and Channel Classics. He was the winner of the 2nd
Broadwood Harpsichord Competition in 1995.
Robin teaches harpsichord and fortepiano at Birmingham
Conservatoire. Also an experienced producer, sound engineer and
technical author, he established the Barn Cottage Records label, and for
16 years has written for the recording magazine Sound on Sound.
MASUMI YAMAMOTO
Harpsichordist Masumi Yamamoto was born in Osaka Japan, grew up
on Australias Gold Coast, and has been based in the UK since 2001.
In 2007, she was a prize winner at the International Harpsichord
Competition in Bruges. She studied at the Royal Academy of Music
and Trinity College of Music and completed a PhD at the University
of York.
Masumis future engagements include solo, chamber and concerto
performances in Japan, Norway, Slovenia, Spain and within the
UK. She is the Artistic Director of Sydenham Concerts launched in
February 2016.
Masumi is Teacher of Harpsichord at St. Pauls Girls School.
