PERFORMANCE

TYRANNOSAURUS 880X is designed for extremely demanding conditions where


incoming waste material can be highly heterogeneous. Thus, Hydraulic Power
Transmission is the most suitable choice for the T880X Shredder giving multiple
advantages e.g.

INTELLIGENT CONTROL SYSTEM

Waste is never homogeneous material. Thus, T880X Intelligent Control System


chooses always optimal shredding program according to the waste type.

Automatic Adjustment
Automatic Torque Adjustment allows full
power output regardless of the rotation speed.

Independent Rotors
Both rotors work independently and choose
always automatically the optimal rotation speed
according to the load caused by the waste mass.

Intelligent Load Control


T880X identifies bridging and blocking by measuring the load of the rotors and the waste
amount in shredding area by echo. In both cases the shredder tries first to solve problem
independently and alarms if necessary.

Special Programs for Difficult Materials


Special programs can be pre-set according to waste composition.

ACCESSIBILITY

Superior usability, easy maintenance and uncompromised safety standards have


always been the priorities in our products. Big doors and hatches ensure that
accessing the shredder is very easy. Cleaning, maintenance and replacement of
spare parts take only minimal amount of time. Operational hours can be used for
the main function shredding.

PARTICLE REMOVAL

In case of unshreddable items occur, T880X reacts and gives alarm signal. Impurities
are easy to remove from the big doors. Patented inward-opening upper hatch
system in T880X prevents waste from falling out of the hopper and ensures that
there is no need to unload the shredding chamber for particle removal.

KNIVES

Particle-size reduction is done by, and only by the encounter of the shredding knives
and waste mass. That is why our experts have paid special attention for the shape,
size and material of the knives. The design enables maximal shredding efficiency and
excellent resistance and durability of the knives.

Heat treated high-grade steel ensures
prime performance and long lifetime.
Maximal Cutting Force
Knives are arranged to hit the shredding material
one at the time. Thus, every single knife produces
maximal force to the waste mass.
Shredding Design
Gap between knives and counter knives is optimized. Main shredding
is done via cutting, which makes the shredder suitable for difficult materials.

KNIVES

Serviceability of the knives is fast and easy. There is no need for operator to go inside
the hopper to work in poor conditions. Rotor knives can be turned or changed via
wide doors by only using standard tools. Both ends of the knife can be utilized by
turning them 180. Changing the knives doesnt need the cleaning of the whole
shredding chamber because no welding or grinding is required.

SCREEN

Screen units play a major role on the shredding result and make it possible to get
the desired particle-size in only one single shredding phase. Screens prevent long
thin sticks from entering between knives and counter knives and help over sized
particles return to shredding process. The quality of the fuel is always
homogeneous.

Control of the Particle-size


Maximum particle-size can be adjusted
easily by changing the screen type.

Special Design
Special shape of the screen holes and the design
of the knives help the screen mesh to stay clean
even with fouling materials such as wet bio waste.

FEEDING

Maximal shredding capacity can be achieved by having always optimal amount of


waste in shredding chamber. Smooth fuel supply is provided by TYRANNOSAURUS
Step Feeder. Feeding flow rate is based on the theoretical knowledge and test
programs performed by our experts.
