    Project Synopsis

    PAYROLL MANAGEMENT

    Objective/ Aim
    The main objective of the project is to design and implement a payroll system that should accept the
    employee details, hours worked ,and leave details and attendance details this also allow as to maintain
    a pay slip and salary register, based on the attendance of the employee taking care of the leaves
    overtime allowances ,loans ,advance, bonus ,encasement and other standard deductions like P.F
    ,E.S.I.C, Professional tax ,income tax etc…

    The payroll is an application that leads itself well to the computer because its repetitive procedure
    .Computerized payroll system performs the same basic functions as those performed by the payroll
    clerk. The important differences are the speed, accuracy, realability, and the ability to easily generate
    reports

    In a computerized payroll system the computer stores data such as employee details, leave details, pay
    slip details, HRD details and transfer, promos ion details etc. After end of the pay periods it operators
    enter the details and produce report based on the transactions take place

    It also calculates all the withholding taxes and other deduction and accumulates the earning and
    withholdings.
    MAJOUR MODULES

    Employee Profile
    This module includes personal profile, official profile, family details and education qualification
    Leave Management System
    This include leave type, attendance register, cashable and noncash able leaves
    Payroll Management System
    This include salary system, salary register etc
    HRD Procedures
    This includes bonus financial settlements, travel allowances
    Employee, Transfer, Promotions & Increments.
    This includes the transfer ,promotion and increment details
    Reports
    This include reports base on the above modules like employee search, pay bill, salary ledger ,P F monthly
    details etc

    Innovativeness & Usefulness


    This is helpful to design and implement a payroll system that should accept employee hours
    worked, compute net pay and record all the payroll data for subsequent processing. The system
    should prepare pay slip and a payroll ledger, and maintain data on a sequential payroll file. Non-
    statutory deductions such as union dues and pension plans to be made.
     The program accepts employee hours worked
     The program computes net pay
     The program record all the payroll data for subsequent processing
     The program should prepare pay cheque
     The program should prepare a payroll ledger
     The program should maintain data on a sequential payroll file
     Non-statutory deductions such as union dues and pension plans to be made
     Year-to-date total should contain earnings, federal tax, pension plan, and union dues
    Payroll data are employee number, employee name, pay rate, and union member flag

    FRONT END AND BACK END


    This system is implemented using VISUAL BASIC 6.0 as front end and MS ACESS-2003
    As the back end with windows as the operating system
