SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

Know all persons by these presents that I, Paramjit Kaur, aged about 28
years, wife of Sh. Rahul Uppal, daughter of Sh.Dalip Singh, resident of #74-G, Street
No.3, Partap Nagar, Patiala (Punjab), INDIA, do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint
my mother Smt. Sinder kaur, aged about 60 years, wife of Sh.Dalip Singh, resident of
#74-G, Street No.3, Partap Nagar, Patiala (Punjab), INDIA as my lawful and true Special
Power of Attorney.

Whereas, I have filed a petition under section 13-B of the Hindu


Marriage Act along with my Husband for dissolution of marriage, titled as "Paramjit
Kaur Versus Rahul Uppal" which is pending in the Court of Sh.Rajiv Kalra, Ld.
Additional Sessions Judge, Patiala (Punjab) and is now fixed up for 06.09.2016.

Whereas, I am going to abroad and as such, I will not be able to appear


before the court to pursue the above said litigation on each and every date of
hearing. As such, I have appointed my mother Smt. Sinder kaur to pursue my
litigation on my behalf. My mother Smt. Sinder kaur is having personal knowledge of
all the facts and circumstances involved in this case and otherwise too, I have also
discussed all other aspects with my mother, who has now full knowledge about the
facts involved in the matter. My attorney is thus empowered to do following acts and
deeds on my behalf and in my place under his own signatures:-

1) To appear in the above said court on my behalf in the above said divorce petition or
any other litigation arising out of my matrimonial dispute and to do all legal needful
in this matter.
2) To sign, verify and file petition, application, reply, written statement, appeal, revision,
review petition, objections, cross objections, writ petition, special leave petition,
application of any nature, affidavit, rejoinder, replication, complaint under any
provision of law or any such paper or documents required by the court with regard to
the above mentioned litigation.

3) To appear before the court personally on my behalf to give statement and depose, give
evidence on my behalf in my name under his own signatures in the court and to sign
any document/statement whatsoever as required for the same.

4) To receive and apply for the grant of certificate copy of any order, judgment,
statement, decree, revenue papers etc. with regard to above said litigation.

5) To file execution/application for enforcement of decree of above said petition, in case


the same is decreed and further to file appeal/ revision or any other case as deemed fit
with regard to above said litigation from lower court to apex court.

6) To appear in the court personally upto the highest court of India, to inspect the case
file, to receive and pay costs, to summon the witnesses, to give evidence & to depose
before the court in my name and to do all other lawful acts, deeds and things which
have not been specifically mentioned in this deed which my said attorney may think
fit and proper for the purpose as aforesaid.

7) To purchase stamps, judicial or non judicial and to cause the refund thereof if
required.

8) To engage Advocate to conduct the cases and engage in and transact any and all
lawful activities relating to the litigation.

9) To give statement in the court to give consent for the disposal of case(s) on any terms
and conditions thought fit in the circumstances.

10) To sign, endorse, execute acknowledge the documents, to sworn affidavits and to
depose in the court, authority, and complete all legal formalities for this purpose.

11) To exercise, do or perform any act, right, duty or obligation whatsoever that I may
have or may acquire the legal right or capacity to exercise, do or perform in
connection with above mentioned divorce petition.

12) To deposit, withdraw or receive money with regards to and for the purpose of any
proceedings.

13) To obtain copies of the documents and papers.

14) To do all other lawful acts which are necessary or incidental for the proper conduct of
the litigation.

15) My consent to the above said mutual divorce petition and this deed of power of
attorney is free, without influence, coercion or pressure from any side.
And generally to do all other acts, deeds and things and acts, which could not be
specifically mentioned above, but are necessary to be executed, signed in connection with
the said case, under his own signatures.

I do hereby ratify and confirm all acts, deeds and things done by my said attorney
as if the same were done by me in person.
