Chapter 1 presents the company background, background of the study, project

description, and statement of the problem, objective of the study, scope and limitation,
significance of the study and the definition of terms. The proponents conducted the study
within ACLC Bacoor Branch. The proponents identified the common problems
encountered by the company; researchers decided to develop a Library Management
system as a suitable solution. The scope and limitations of the proposed system was also
presented to give an overview of the capabilities of the system. This project will be of
significance to the operations within the company.

In Chapter 2, the proponents presented the review of related literature and related
studies. The proponents have conducted a research related to the Library Management
system; the proponents considered specified local and foreign literatures and studies
regarding the system. The research gave the proponents a better understanding regarding
Library Management system.
Chapter 3, the proponents included the systems development which consists of the
following requirements analysis, systems analysis, systems design, input process output
chart, context flow diagram, and data dictionary and data flow diagram. These were used
to equip the proponents ideas in developing the proposed system. The proponents used
the waterfall methodology for the system requirements, analysis, design, coding, testing
and acceptance. It was a suitable methodology to use since the constant changes were
made based from the data gathering. The proponents studied the existing process of the
system and found ways on how to improve. The proponents also included the cost and
benefit analysis to show if the project is feasible to implement it will give a positive result
in terms of benefit and cost.
Chapter 5, in this chapter the proponents presents the finding of the study, the
conclusions, and the recommendation based on presented data in this study. The
proponents include the summary of findings based on the systems evaluation conducted.
In this chapter the researcher also includes the conclusion and recommendation based on
the findings of the study and information gathered.

For all the people who help us in making our research possible we would like to
thank them all. To my group mates who are always cooperates whenever we do the
studies or research, they support our research financially and mentally. Without them the
project will not be finished. Of course to our Adviser in System Analysis and Design Mr.
Roderick Valenzuela who serve as a guide for us in doing our research. He always being
patient correcting us on whatever mistakes weve done in our research, he keep on
reminding us the importance of making a research, that will definitely do a lot in our
studies.
To our families that always understand us whenever we arrive late at home

finishing our research and giving us extra finances for us to be able to complete our
research. To our classmates, who are always there in times of brainstorming and giving
many ideas and suggestions. And most of all we would like to thank the Almighty God
from heaven for giving us enough knowledge and strength. Thank you for all of them.
