    Duties and Responsibilities

    Quality control

    Analysis of Clinical samples using fully automated Haematology analyser Sysmex-


    1000i,sysmex 500to detect Complete Blood Count, and ,CL ANALYSER to
    determine coagulation profile tests.

    Responsibilities include Identification of specimen, separation of samples,


    performing various
    test including Haemoglobin, Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate, Packed Cell Volume,
    Total Count and Differential Count and interpreting results and data entry.
    BIOCHEMISTRY

    Quality control

    Identification of samples,Separation of samples, , sample analysis, interpreting


    results, validation, data entry of particulars of patients, communicating
    with doctors for information on patient profiles.

    Analysis of clinical samples by fully automated chemical analyser such


    as,COBAS INTEGRA400 PLUS,COBAS 6000, HITACHI 912,HITACHI
    902,HUMASTAR 600, and BIOLIS241 to determine diabetic profile, renal profile, liver
    profile, cardiac profile etc as well as other fluids including CSF, Urine etc.

    Handling of automated immunoassay analyser,C0BAS E 411,cobas6000 VIDAS-


    BIOMERIEUX for the identification of Tumour markers such as AFP,PSA, CA-125,
    CEA etc and reproductive hormones like FSH, LH,Prolactin,estrogen etc and Thyroid
    hormones such as T3,T4,TSH etc and other hormone test like Serum
    Cortisol and Cardiac Profile Troponin I.

    Analysis of electrolytes (Sodium and Potassium) using ILYTE and


    EASY LYTE(Sodium, potassium and Lithium analyser)

    Handling of Arterial Blood Gas Analyser-ABL 80 FLEXES
