Exceed and SSHClient For Remote Access
1. The VLSI CAD Tools uses Graphical Programs that depend on the X-Windows system.
2. It is common to execute CAD Tools on the Remote Server and redirect the display to local M/c.
3. The X-server is local and it runs on the machine associated with the display, not the one runs on Remote
Server.
4. For the best display performance, you need to fully enable "backing store" and make the necessary
settings for your X-server.
5. If it is not then you will find the redraw and blinking problems while you draw your layout which can be
slow and annoying.

You can find the Hummingbird Connectivity from Start tab All Apps Click Xconfig

Click Other Server Settings

Go to Performance Tab Set the Maximum, Default and Minimum Backing Stores to Always,
When Mapped and When Mapped respectively and Tick the Check boxes as Indicated Below:
Go to Actions Validate and Apply changes.

Run `Exceed` Unblock for Firewall and Permit for all Networks (Admin Permission Required):

(IV) Configure Secure Shell Client

Go to Profile Settings Click Tunneling Tick the Check Box of Tunnel X11 connections Click OK.
Go to File Save Settings & Click Exit.

(V) Run Exceed and Secure Shell Client

Click Quick Connect Provide Host name & User Name Click `Connect`
