jumpstart a promising career in Orthopedic Surgery

Current Fellows, 2017-2018
Isabella Wu
is an MD/MPH student at Tulane University School of Medicine. She
graduated in 2014 from the University of Southern California with a B.A.
in International Relations. In medical school she organized Global Health
Awareness Week for the Tulane chapter of AMSA, shaved her head bald
for the St. Baldricks Foundation, and writes for First Aid for the USMLE
Step 1. She is a regular at Roca Climbing & Fitness in Rochester and
enjoys electronic music shows.

Vishal Desai
is a medical student at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He
graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2014 and is part of the
MD/MBA track. Outside of school, he is a talented classical musician,
amateur photographer, and frequent visitor of the Mayo Clinic rec center.
He has travelled to 40 different countries and was once cast as an extra
in a film with Academy Award-winning actor Don Cheadle.
