succeed at a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or its hit point
maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the damage taken.
This reduction lasts until the creature finishes a long rest. The
target vanishes if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0,
leaving only his clothing and possessions. All memory of him
similarly vanishes from the minds of those who knew of or met
him, as if he had never existed. He may not be raised, resurrected,
or otherwise restored, even with a wish.
