NOTE: The FADEC hardware P/N is located on the small label on top of the FADEC
(Ref. FIG. 1).
B. Reason
This bulletin introduces new FADEC hardware and software assemblies (23089599 and
23089602) that incorporates FADEC software version C9.2 (23089589).
FADEC Software version C9.2 is an incremental change from the FADEC software version C9.1
used on the AE 3007C engine.
FADEC Software version C9.2 upgrade incorporates changes that correct production and field
issues related to the current FADEC software configuration as well as an on wing life
improvement. The primary changes include:
-- Correcting ADC Reversionary Mode events on ground during low speed Takeoff
-- Providing additional ITT margin on eligible engines.
C. Description
This service bulletin gives you the procedure to reprogram the FADEC hardware and software
assembly (FADEC assembly) (any FADEC with hardware P/N 23074372 or 23085791) to
FADEC assembly (23089599 or 23089602) and change the FADEC identification labels.
A Goodrich Engine Control Systems authorized representative will reprogram and reidentify the
FADEC assemblies.
This service bulletin transmits Goodrich service bulletins AFFU100--73--7764 revision 1 and
AFFU101--73--7764.

(1) Remove electrical power from the FADEC assemblies (Ref. Cessna Model 750 AMM).
(2) Remove the four FADECs from the aircraft (Ref. TASK 73--25--10--000--801, MM).
(a) If the FADEC has diode adapter (86632307) attached to the J4 connector, then
disconnect the electrical connector from the diode adapter. Do not remove the
anti--tamper label and the diode adapter from the J4 connector.
(3) Reprogram and reidentify the FADEC assemblies by the Goodrich authorized service
technician in accordance with Goodrich Service Bulletin AFFU100--73--7764 or
AFFU101--73--7764.
(4) When the Goodrich authorized service technician reidentifies the FADEC, do the steps that
follow:
(a) Make sure that the small FADEC Modification Label on the top of the FADEC, shows
the following information (Ref. TABLE 1) (Ref. FIG. 1):

Manual Revision 56 or later.
(a) If necessary, connect the diode adapter to the J4 connector (Ref. TASK
70--00--00--910--804, MM) and put the anti--tamper label on the FADEC and the diode
adapter (Ref. AE 3007C--73--046, SB).
CAUTION: DO NOT OPERATE THE AIRCRAFT UNLESS ALL FOUR OF THE FADECS
HAVE THE SAME SOFTWARE VERSION INSTALLED. INCORRECT ENGINE
OPERATION CAN RESULT FROM USING FADECS WITH TWO DIFFERENT
SOFTWARE VERSIONS.
(6) Supply electrical power to the FADECs (Ref. Cessna Model 750 AMM).
(7) Put the avionics power switch to the ON position (Ref. Cessna Model 750 AMM).
(8) Cycle all of the FADEC circuit breakers (breakers) by opening and closing the breakers
three times.
(9) Examine the EICAS display for the messages listed below:

(b) Do the appropriate fault isolation task for the message displayed (Ref. FIM).
(c) Do steps 2.A.(11) thru 2.A.(13) again.
(14) Use the right--hand multi--function display (MFD) to access the engine maintenance
messages in the aircraft maintenance test (AMT) for all four FADECs
(Ref. Introduction, FIM).
(15) If any engine--related maintenance messages are shown on the MFD, do the appropriate
fault isolation task for the message displayed (Ref. FIM).
(16) Do steps 2.A.(11) thru 2.A.(13) again with FADEC channel B selected in control for both
engines.
