    Cristaino Ronaldo was born in Portugal. He started playing soccer at a very young age, and over his
    career he has won many awards. He is one of the most influential soccer players. A lot of young people
    want to be like him because he is really good.

    Cristaino Ronaldo was born in Fundal, Portugal on February, 1985. His full name is Cristaino Ronaldo
    Dos Santos Aveiro. His mothers name is Maria Dolores Dos Santos Aveiro. His father died when he was
    young his name was Jose Dinis Aveiro. The name Ronaldo in Cristaino Ronaldo was taken from the
    name of former Hollywood actor and ex-us President Ronald Reagan due to his fathers love and respect
    for Ronald Reagan.

    Ronaldo began his career as a youth player for Andorinha, where he played for two years, then moved to
    Nacional. In 1997, he made a move to Portuguese giants Sporting CP. Ronaldo's precocious talent caught
    the attention of Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson and he signed the 18-year-old for 12.24
    million in 2003. The following season, Ronaldo won his first club honour, the FA Cup, and reached the
    Euro 2004 final with Portugal, in which tournament he scored his first international goal.

    He grew up in a poor family and had to share a bedroom and bathroom with his older brother and two
    older sisters. He started playing soccer at an early age when he was just eight. At the age of 17, Ronaldo
    played his first professional game for the Portuguese Super League.

    He can produce 5 times more G-force than a cheetah during a take-off on his jump! His free kick speed is
    13.1 kmph, equivalent to a space shuttle. Arnold Schwarzeneggar has labelled Ronaldo as the fittest
    athlete in the world. His body fat ratio is just 10%.

    Ronaldo donates blood regularly and does not smoke or have any tattoos on his body. Ronaldo has won
    the FIFA world player of the year award, Ballon dOr, the Golden Boot, and has been named the UEFA
    Club Forward of the Year as well.
