Digraph: (ch)
Digraphs consist of two consonants that are blended to make one
sound. (Digraph has two letters, but only one sound).
The letter “c” has two sounds, hard “c” and soft "c".
When "c" is followed by (e, i, y) it is sounded as "s" (soft c).
When "c" is followed by (a, o, u) it is sounded as "k" (hard c).

letters. Always write an (’) to show where letters are left out.
