please
ask
your

If
you
have
more
than
100
subscribers,
be
sure
to
turn
on
the
email-‐

Keep
the
interval
as
low
as
possible
and
try
to
keep
the
number
of
emails
per
interval
below
100.
Click

Read
the

information.
Put
a
Subscribe
Form
on
the
Site
You
most
likely
want
to
put
a
subscribe
form
on
the
site
so
that
your
users
can
subscribe
to
your
mailing
list(s)
on
the
user
end
of
the
site
by
filling
in
their
email
address
(and
other
possible
details).
With
our
system
you
can
integrate
this
easily
with
any
good
lead
generation,
squeeze
page
or
theme
that
has
a
sign
up
form
feature.
For
example,
it
is
very
easy
to
integrate
with
IMSC
ListRocket,
OptimizePress
1
&
2,
Leadpages,
etc.
However,
we
do
have
a
native
option
built
in
to
this
platform,
too.
There
are
several
ways
of
putting
a
subscribe
form
on
your
WordPress
site.
You
can
use
multiple
instances
(multiple
subscribe
forms)
throughout
the
site
and
it
is
NOT
limited
to
just
a
single
one.
They
include:
• Using
a
sidebar
widget
under
Appearance
>
Widgets
>
IMSC
Rapid
Mailer.
• Embedding
into
a
WordPress
post/page
with
a
shortcode.
• Hardcoding
into
the
theme
with
PHP
code.
Read
the
subscription
form
documentation
for
detailed
instructions
on
how
to
use
each
individual
method.

to
“WP
Mail”
by
default
and
allows
you
to

what
type
of

is
used
when
sending
out

The
other
two
options
are
SMTP

WP
Mail
is
the
best
setting
as
it
sends
through
your
wp_mail()
function
and
is
most
likely
to
work
without
problems.
15
This
is
also
the
section
where
you
can
configure
a
third
party
mail
sender
as
well.
For
example
we
recommend
any
of
the
following
services:
Amazon
SES
(Recommended
Option)
Amazon
SES
allows
you
to
send
10,000
emails
for
just
$1
and
you
only
pay
for
what
you
use.
SendGrid
Sendgrid
is
a
cheap
and
saleable
email
service
with
excellent
deliverability.
Plans
start
from
$9.95
a
month
and
any
overage
above
quota
is
as
cheap
as
Amazon
SES
or
cheaper.
MailJet
We
have
many
students
who
swear
by
MailJet
as
a
service
and
they
offer
a
great
starter
package
for
FREE
that
allows
6000
mails
per
month
at
200
per
day
and
other
plans
that
are
very
cheap.
Well
worth
a
look.
Mandrill
A
service
provided
by
MailChimp,
their
transactional
email
service
also
has
a
great
FREE
starter
level
that
allows
12,000
emails
per
month
and
is
a
pay-‐
as-‐you-‐go
service.
They
start
at
20¢
per
thousand
emails
sent
and
get
cheaper
based
on
volume.
IMPORTANT
NOTE
-‐
Using
a
third
party
service
is
a
recommended
way
to
maximize
delivery
and
is
very
cost
effective.
You
can
use
your
local
mailer
on
your
server
if
you
prefer,
but
there
are
a
few
extra
steps
you
may
need
to
address.
We
have
a
detailed
video
on
maximizing
your
delivery
with
a
local
mail
server
in
the

The
way
this
Test

works
is
that
it
sends
out
a
test
email
and
if
the
email
is
undelivered
then
this
feature
will
bring
up
an
error.
This
error
will
be
specific.
It
will
try
to
give
you
a
reason
why
it
is
not
working.
You
simply
need
to
act
on
what
it
says
in
order
to
get
your

You
do
not
need
to

takes
either
Yes

No
value.
Set

Yes
in
order
to
delete
a
subscriber
from
your

immediately
when
an
email

It
depends
on
the
Bounce

setting
below.
A
subscriber
won’t
be
deleted
immediately
if
the
bounce
count
is
higher
than
1
in
the
setting
below.
24
2.

to
bounce
a
subscriber
before
it
is
deleted.
Must
be
a

1
or

By
setting
this

4.
Bounce

5.
Bounce
Handling
Method
There
are
two
types:
Email
Piping
(CGI)
and
POP/IMAP
Email
Fetch.
The
default
is
Email
Piping
(CGI).
This
is
the
method
to
use
to
retrieve
bounced
emails.
We
recommend
that
you
use
the
POP/IMAP
Email
Fetch
method
because
it
is
automated
and
doesn’t
require
extensive
setup
like
the
Email
Piping
method.
6.
Check
Interval
This
option
specifies
how
often
the
system
should
check
the
mailbox
for
bounced
emails.
This
option
will
only
be
visible
if
‘POP/IMAP
Email
Fetch’
is
selected.
25
7.
POP
Host
This
is
the
host
name
that
is
used
to
check
the
email.
The
POP/incoming
email
host
name
is
set
to
localhost
by
default.
This
option
will
only
be
visible
if
‘POP/IMAP
Email
Fetch’
is
selected.
8.
POP
user/email
This
is
the
email
account
that
the
bounced
emails
will
be
sent
to.
You
will
need
to
change
this
to
the
appropriate
email
address
that
you
use.
This
option
will
only
be
visible
if
‘POP/IMAP
Email
Fetch’
is
selected.
9.
POP
Password
This
is
the
password
for
the
email
account
that
you
use
for
your
bounce
emails.
This
option
will
only
be
visible
if
‘POP/IMAP
Email
Fetch’
is
selected.
10.
POP
Port
This
is
the
POP/incoming
port
number
to
connect
to.
It
is
set
to
110
by
default,
which
is
the
standard
setting.

Dynamic
Variables/Shortcodes
When
added
through
the
shortcode
manager,
the
shortcodes
are
going
to
be
wrapped
in
[raw]
tags.
This
happens
to
prevent
some
themes
from
causing
problems
with
the
shortcode
output.
All
emails
sent
through
the
IMSC
Rapid
Mailer
Plugin
(not
just
newsletters,
but
expiration
notifications,
confirmation
emails,
etc.)
are
parsed
through
a
method
which
checks
for
certain
dynamic
variable
tags
in
the
content
and
replaces
these
tags
with
values
based
on
their
purpose.
Below
is
a
list
of
all
the
available
dynamic
variables,
together
with
a
description
for
each.
Predefined
Variables
Shortcodes
[newsemail]
Ouputs
the
email
address
of
each
individual
subscriber.
[newssubject]
Display
the
title/subject
of
this
newsletter
in
the
content.
[newshistoryid]
Display
the
history
ID
of
this
newsletter
in
the
content.
[newsunsubscribe]
Generates
an
unsubscription
link
for
each
individual
subscriber.
47
[newsblogname]
Outputs
the
title
of
your
WordPress
blog.
[newssiteurl]
Outputs
an
absolute
URL
to
your
WordPress
blog’s
home
page.
[newsmailinglist]
Output
the
name
of
the
mailing
list
being
sent
to.
[newsactivate]
Generates
an
activation/confirmation
link
for
each
subscriber
for
the
specific
mailing
list.
[newsmanage]
Generates
a
link
which
will
automatically
validate
a
subscriber
without
requiring
him
to
insert
his
email
address,
and
takes
him
to
a
subscription
management
page.
[newsonline]
Give
your
subscribers
a
link
to
view
the
newsletter
online
in
their
browser.
48
[newstrack]
Inserts
a
tracking
code
into
each
individual
email
to
track
its
read
status.
Ensure
that
you
have
tracking
turned
on
in
the
Configuration
in
order
for
this
to
work.
The
way
it
works
is
by
adding
a
1px
by
1px
invisible
image
to
each
email.
Each
individual
email
sent
through
the
plugin
gets
a
unique
tracking
code.
Ultimately,
the
tracking
code
alerts
the
plugin
when
an
email
is
read
by
seeing
if
the
invisible
image
is
loaded.
[newsdate
{format}]
By
default,
this
shortcode
is
inserted
into
the
newsletter
content
or
template
as
[newsdate].
Optionally,
a
‘format’
parameter
can
be
passed
to
it
like
this
[newsdate
format="%d/%m/%Y"]
to
define
the
format
of
the
date.
By
default,
the
format
is
%d/%m/%Y.
You
can
also
pass
time
format
strings
to
the
‘format’
parameter.
See
the
PHP
strftime
manual.
[newsbouncecount]
Output
the
total
email
bounces
for
the
subscriber.
[newscustomfields]
Output
all
custom
fields
with
values
in
a
table
for
the
subscriber.
[newssubscriberscount]
Display
the
total
number
of
subscribers
in
the
database.
[newspost_thumbnail]
Display
the
featured
image
of
the
current
post.
[newspost_permalink]
Fetches
the
current
post
permalink.
49
Once
you’ve

it
will

From
here
you
can
choose
to

The
other

vary
depending
on
this

define
the

such
as
how
