    White suit with blue edges:

    2 mm knitting needles
    Yarn: White and blue - Fingering weight yarn 8/4

    Begin with back piece:


    Cast on 26 sts with blue.

    Change to white and stockinette stitch.


    At 5 ½ cm, 7 ½ cm decrease 1 st on each side, inside edge
    stitch = 22 sts

    Continue with stockinette stitch until work measures 9 ½ cm.

    Place the 6 middle sts on a needle holder, and work each part
    separately = 8 sts (front piece)

    Begin with right part:


    Rows 1, 3, 5: Knit stitch
    Rows 2, 4, 6: (wrong side) Purl stitch
    Row 7: K 7, M 1, ( at neck), K 1
    Row 8: Purl stitch
    Row 9: K 8, M 1, K 1
    Row 10: Purl stitch

    Row 11: K 9, M 1, K 1
    Row 12: Purl stitch
    Row 13: Knit stitch
    Row 14: Cast on 3 new sts and work K 2, P 12
    Row 15: K 14
    Row 16: K 2, P 12
    Row 17: K 1, M 1, K 13
    Row 18: K 2, P 13
    Row 19: K 15

    Row 20: K 2, P 13
    Row 21: White, K 5, Blue, K 5 (pocket flap), white, K 5
    Row 22: White, K 2, P 3, Blue, K 5, white, P 5
    Rows 23, 25, 27: K 15
    Row2 24, 26, 28: K 2, P 13
    Row 29: K 1, M 1, K 14
    Row 30: K 2, P 14
    Row 31: K 16
    Row 32: K 2, P 14
    Repeat rows 31 and 32 until work measures 2 ½ cm from the
    pocket flap.

    Continue with:
    Row 33: White, K 6, Blue, K 5 (pocket flap), white, K 5
    Row 34: White, K 2, P 3, Blue, K 5, white, P 6
    Row 35: K 16
    Row 36: K 2, P 14
    Repeat rows 35 and 36 until front piece is as long as the back piece.

    Change to blue:
    Row 37: Knit stitch

    Cast off in knit from wrong side.

    Work second front piece the same, but in the opposite direction.

    Sleeve:
    Pick up 22 sts with white, from right side, on the middle 7 cm, and work stockinette stitch.
    At 3 cm, decrease 1 stitch on each side = 20 sts
    Continue until sleeve measures 7 cm.

    Change to blue and work:


    1 row knit stitch
    Cast off in knit from wrong side.

    Work the other sleeve the same.

    Collar:
    Pick up 28 sts with white, from right side, around neck.
    Row 1: From wrong side, K 2, P 24, K 2

    Change to blue:
    Row 2: Knit stitch

    Cast off in knit from wrong side.

    Skirt:
    Cast on 36 sts with white and work stockinette stitch until work measures 8 cm.
    Decrease to 33 sts evenly on the next row.
    At 8 ½ cm, end with 4 rows rib stitch, K 1, P 1

    Cast off in rib stitch (K 1, P 1).
