    The time of Sage Pulippani is not clearly known.

    Some say he lived in 3000 BC


    before the start of Kali Yuga. Siddha Pulippani and Pulippani are one and the same.
    The importance of Pulippani Jothidam is the way in which, most of the astrological
    principles have been explained in just 300 verses. People in Tamil Nadu still refer
    this great work when any such combinations as stated in the book is found in a
    chart. Some of the Yogas are very clearly explained like a yoga which is called as
    Tharai Yoga which means like the summer rains which comes with lightning and
    thunder, wealth and property will come. A very good explanation is available on the
    Raja yogas. The results arising out of some of the conjunctions of planets have
    also been given elaborately not found in most books. Next is the long list of Dhana
    Yoga combinations which are worth reading and found to be true in majority of the
    horoscopes. There is a section on Bad yogas too. Certain horoscopes have been
    blessed with the grace of God, combinations for such charts have been provided. The
    results on account of transit is worth reading. The final part is the results for
    each Mahadasa and in its each Antardasa.

    The aspects of Rahu and Ketu have been much under debate, yet one does find 5, 7
    aspects mentioned in some works. Here Pulippani Jothidamis the only work which
    talks about the 3rd and 11th aspect of Rahu Ketu. Over a period of 3 years we have
    found this 3 and 11 aspect of Rahu Ketu working subtly and finely. Readers are
    requested to experiment on it further.

    With so much information in 300 verses is a real achievement. Many astrologers in


    Tamil Nadu have stated that the ocean of Astrology has been compressed in just 300
    verses. The rules stated therein are very concise and are effective ones. One can
    rely on such statements ofPulippani while giving predictions.
