FINAL REPORT
I did my training practice in Laboratory 8th School in Erdenet. When I did my practices to become
a teacher, I dealt with three groups. They were 5th,6th and 7th grades. These three groups were
integrated by teenagers. The 5th grade were composed of 52 students but the 5th grade consisted of
three branches.(5A,5B,5V).They were between ten and eleven years old.The 6th grade were composed
13 students, who were between eleven and twelve years old.The 7th grade were composed 15
students, who were between twelve and thirteen years old.I did my training 4 weeks,I observed
teachers for a week and I watched 10 different lesson for how to teacher explain and teach. Then I
taught lesson three weeks by the way, my guide teacher entered my class 4 times.First time she
observed me and gave advice for how to teach..etc.After three times she entered my class and gave
me point, these classes were 5-b,6-a,and 7-a.
My third group was 7th grade, there were 16 students. I was very happy to teach this class because I
was a class teacher of this class so I would get to know them better. When I do observe, I understand
that this three classes I have are very different from each other. Before the teaching, I asked some
questions to my training teacher and she gave me some advice. I thought this class would be harder
among other classes. I taught 3 new lessons in this class and one lesson was with a point. My first
third lesson´s topic was Animal kingdom.I prepared video song, flashcards, worksheets and
homework worksheets. This lesson was not as I expected because I did not know what to do, because
it was my first lesson at 7th grade. But despite everything I tried hard to explain well and at the end
of the lesson I was able to get the answers I wanted to ask. Not all the students answered, but even
this was a big deal for me. My second lesson´s topic was prepositions of place. I promised myself
that I would be good at this lesson and I prepared powerpoint, video song, worksheets and I used text
book. I gave examples of real objects in class to draw attention of these students. I really enjoyed this
lesson and I am sure that the most of students understand this lesson. My third lesson´s topic was
present continuous tense.I prepared poster, activity cards, worksheets. This lesson was so important for
me the first reason is, this topic was grammar and students would learn for the first time, the second
reason is my guide teacher entered my class and gave me point .During the lesson I used board,
because I thought they would understand better if I wrote the forms. I also liked this class because I
played various games and did general knowledge competition with them.
PLANNING STAGE
I have to admit that planning was not an easy task for me. It took me a lot of time to organize the
whole lesson according to the time allotted, to choose the activities that would be included and the
material that would be used, etc. Before I thought like this but then, I realized that my thoughts were
wrong.A person who make a plan is always more organized. I prepared a lesson plan for each lesson.
Generally, my lessons plans included:
WARM-UP
PRESENTATION OF THE TOPIC
CONCLUSION
I must admit I was terrified about taking this step, for that reason I deferred my decision. Now, I can
say I regret having waited so long to do it, because it was the most gratifying experience in my life. I
was able to be at the front of a class, to transmit my knowledge, but also to learn a lot. I felt happy
when I did things right, but what really taught me were the mistakes I made. I took advantage of
them, and tried hard not to repeat them, but correct them. I know it is not the end of my practices. It
is just the beginning. There is a lot that I still have to learn and to go through. I thank my host teacher
because she was in solidarity with me. She showed me how to get the material she was using, and
gave me good energy all the time. I thank
Three groups of students because they did my task easier. I noticed that they behave better than they
generally did, and most of them were very participative. And finally, I thank my training teachers
Khongorzul and Otgonerdene , who gave me the best suggestions and guided me along the way. It
was a real pleasure to have such a teacher. My challenges in five classrooms led me to grow
personally and professionally. I hope to be a good teacher and to keep on learning throughout life. I
will do my best!
