RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

This resource allows it user to place tiles on to a padlet. The padlet acts like a sheet of paper where the user
can organize however they choose. A file can be uploaded, a link can be inserted on the page, images,
videos and GIFs from Google can be inserted, as well as a photo or video from your device. An audio
recording, a doodle, a map location or a link to another padlet can be inserted on to the padlet. There are
lots of options for a person to use to create the padlet that works best for them. The padlet can be shared
with others for them to view or allows students to collaborate by sharing it between group members.

INTEGRATION IDEA - COLLABORATION

How might you integrate this resource in a lesson plan to promote collaboration among students in your classroom, or among
students and others outside of the classroom?

Students could use padlet to create a presentation. They could pick a basic padlet template and use it to
organize their information. The students can share their padlet within their group and allow each other to
edit it. They could also share it with the other students in the class only allowing them to view the padlet
from their own screen.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
 Based on the “value-added rating scale” above, how would you rate the technology integration you described, using the
selected resource?
 Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.

I am between giving a score of 2 or a score of 1. I feel like this tool could be used by a teacher or by a student, but I think it would
be more of a supplement to the lesson rather than an enhancement.
