CC Reflection

1) Clinical chemistry is a difficult subject that requires both knowledge of definitions and values as well as practical medical technician skills. 2) The student found their first semester challenging but doubled their efforts this semester to earn the grade they wanted, even if it meant losing sleep. 3) The laboratory instructors created a friendly learning environment that reduced stress while maintaining their respect as instructors and their focus on providing a quality laboratory experience.

Reflection paper on Clinical Chemistry 2

Clinical chemistry is not an easy subject it is not enough to know the values and the definitions,
you need to have the skill of a real med tech to get the values right. As a student I expected that I won’t
have an easy time in CC lab cause in my first semester experience I barely passed the subject. This
semester I doubled my effort to get the grade that I want even if it means I lose sleep and time for
myself. Our laboratory instructors Mrs. Lee and Ms. Salunga created a friendly environment for us in
class without sacrificing the quality of lab experience we get. They lessen the stress in the lab by being
the type of professors who can become a student’s friend while maintaining the image of a well
respected instructor. As for the lab equipments I think it is enough for a small clinical chemistry class.

Over all I think that this laboratory class is a huge stepping stone for our internship and our
future jobs as a medical technologist, doctor or even a professor because we were exposed in a
laboratory experience that is meant to be a training ground for future medical practioners.
