• LEND is an interdisciplinary training program that prepares professionals and graduate
students for leadership roles in providing health and related services for children with
neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families.
• Training topics: Family-centered approaches, cultural competency, Autism Spectrum
Disorders, disability funding, self-advocacy, policy, and many more educational lectures.
• Project areas: Mentored by a family who has a child with a developmental disability and
volunteered at Visionaries and Voices, an art studio for adults with disabilities
• Interdisciplinary Training Team: Completed psychological assessment and participated on an
interdisciplinary team to complete a full evaluation and provide treatment recommendations
• Seminar in Evidence-based Methods (SEBM) Research Project: Increasing accessibility for
children with developmental disabilities and their families at the Cincinnati Zoo and
Botanical Garden

Program, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center
Supervising Psychologist: Rebekah Ridgeway, PsyD
• Conduct psychological evaluations and diagnostic interviews with children 18-months to 15-
years-old related to developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and various
behavioral and emotional concerns
• Participate in multidisciplinary team evaluations and conference with team to determine
appropriate diagnoses and recommendations
• Write detailed psychological reports
• Conduct supervised feedback sessions with patients and their caregivers
• Co-facilitate group therapy with adolescents, using the PEERS curriculum
