The line graph gives some information on the proportions of questions posed by
customers for the Tourist Information Office via 3 ways surveyed in a city during
the first six months of the year 2011.
Overall, there was an upward trend in the rates of queries made by individuals and
via phone calls apart from a downward pattern seen in that sent by electronic mail
over the given period. Meanwhile, the most dramatic soar in the popularity level
was seen in the figure for making enquiries in person. (making enquiries in person
became the most growing trend/ the most preferred way for tourists)
The first 3 months witnessed a 2-fold increase in the number of direct questions as against some fluctuations in
the figure for queries raised via email with a low of 800 questions in February and a high of 1000 enquiries. It
is noticeable that the proportion of face-to-face queries outstripped that of phone-based questions at 1000 in
March prior to rocketing to a new peak of 1900 questions at the end of the surveyed period whereas the
number of telephone-originated questions relatively levelled out from March to April before seeing a steep
rise, adding another 7000 queries within six months. In contrast, fewer customers chose to raise questions via
letter or email when its figure sank to a new low of merely 390 in May at which the figure stabilized till June.

Looking at the pie charts, the percentage of fossil fuel registered the highest firgues in India
and Vietnam whilst Sweden and Morocco utilised the most number of hydro power.
In term of India and Vietnam, the largest figures of fossil fuel stood at 82% and 56%,
respectively. The rest in Vietnam, 44% of hydro water was used to produce the eletricily
compared to India with 14%. In contrast, vietnam did not take advantages of using nuclear
power while the number of nuclear power in India was 4%.
In Morocco, a vast majority of electricity (95%) was used by hydro water, with the rest
belonging to fossil fuel. Similarly, Sweden used 52% of hydro power and 44% of nuclear
power to produce the electricity, with the rest belonging to fossil fuel.
The four pie charts compare the percentages of electricity generated from three main sources
between 2003 and 2008.
It is obvious that while the principal source to manufacture energy in India and Vietnam was
natural resources, hydro power was responsible for the majority of electricity production in
Sweden and Morocco.

electricity, with the former being significantly higher than the latter, at 82% and 56%

for India, with 14%. In contrast, Vietnam did not take advantage ofnuclear power at that time,
but India recorded 4% of electricity produced from this source.

The given charts give information about the number of students at university in the UK from 1991 to 2001,

The given graphs illustate how many students at university in the UK over the course of ten years starting
1991, the amount of money spent on each students and the categories of family financial from 1991.
+ The plans below show information about a coal mine before and after redevelopment as a visitor
attraction.
The provided maps illustrate considerable changes of a tourist attraction in comparison with its being a coal
mine in the past.
Overall, the modifications have brought with them the entertainment spots as well as other amenities, while
hardly have there been any significant shifts in the parking area.
It is noticeable that office and staff changing room, located to the west, have been preferably contructed the
museum while the parking area has been still at the same position. Further up the northern area, the entrance
underground now has been used by visitors, which used to be for workers.
In term of wasting tip 1 and 2, it was demolished to make way for digging driving track and picnic area in the
east and while director board and car parking was replace by café and lottery park. Moreover childern play
area was added at the south.

The line graph compares the numbers of questions that a tourist information office located in a city
was asked by three ways in the first half of 2011.
It is clear that asking information about travelling via letter or email became gradually less common,
but the opposite was true for questioning in person or by making phone calls. The number of
enquiries received in person underwent the most dramatic change over the period shown.
In January, telephone was the most widely chosen way for tourists to raise questions, with about 900
enquiries received. This figure was roughly 200 higher than the quantity of questions in form of
email and letter, and only over 400 questions were asked face to face.
Over the next six months, this tourist information office received more enquiries via telephone, with
its figure climbing to 1600 in June. Similarly, the number of direct questions rocketed and ranked top
at the end, with around 1900. In contrast, fewer tourists sent letter or email to request for
information, whose figure fell to under 400 in June.
