Overview
Project Experience
Project Information - Sony India Software Centre (SISC) of Sony India Pvt. Ltd. primarily provides
IT solutions and services to Sony Group of companies. SISC consists of SARD (Software
Architecture Division) and ORMC (Offshore Resource Management Centre). SARD as a division;
works mainly on software products or software product components for Sony. ORMC as a division;
works on Enterprise Applications of Sony group companies. Both SARD and ORMC are supported
by Planning and Control (P&C) division comprising of critical services like Human Resources,
General Administration, Facility Management, Quality, Information Security (Part of Quality dept.),
Finance & Accounts Training (Part of HR dept.) and IT Infrastructure functions.
Responsibilities:
Carried out ABAP programming for Reports like (eg:Variant report list) and interface
programs
Performed modification in user exists for the Function module
Worked on Enhancements- Finacial BSPL Data Export for the FI module
Created Tool for Automatically Source Code Template.
Created a tool to enhance the Code Inspector.
Enhanced Code Inspector, to check Database Updates Optimization, Internal Table
Optimzation, Projects standard Naming Convention, Performancce Tuning, Select Query
Optimization, others etc.
Worked on Multiple projects.
Print the output of report program in 3D type.
Created a tool to close the CO production order using OO ABAP concept.
Worked on Parallel Processing to improve the performance of programs for CO module.
Created a tool which can automatically create DDIC objects(Domian, Data Element, Table,
View, Lock Object, Search Help, TMG and T-code for TMG).
Created a tool to correct the output length while maintaining translation in different
languages.
Worked on workflow for PO creation.
Project Information : Sony China is a support project, where we need to migrate legacy data into
SAP using BDC as well BI related work.
Responsibilities :
Created a BDC program input is a flat file and and uploaded into Z-transaction using BAPI’s
function Module.
Print the output of report program in 3D type.
Created a tool to send mail directly to the user for error status record in Purchase Facility
instead of creating all data manually.

Role SAP ABAP Consultant
Responsibilities:
Working as a SAP Technical Consultant in this project on SD module.
Carried out ABAP programming for interfaces, Reports, module pool and data migration.
Worked as a shadower for four associates.
Involved in analyzing the programs and doing the code modifications.
Performed modification in user exits for the Function module.
Involved in making changes in the standard programs and SAP scripts.
Developed Smartforms.
Deal with Programs, Data Elements, Tables, Domains, Search Help and Function Groups.
Involved in developing various ALV reports, Interfaces, BDCs, BAPI, SAP scripts and
Smartforms.
Carried out modification in Scripts for various output types pertaining to SD.
Carrying out detailed analysis of requirements and preparing the technical specification
Created data migration programs BDC for SD module.

1) Created program to maintain shipping routes by reading excel file on the presentation server.
The program also validated the file contents and displays the result in an interactive ALV. The
user had options to create/change the route determination and save it to the database.
2) Created report to upload the material price region-wise details maintained in a text file into
SAP custom tables by first validating the data in the file and then scheduling a background job
to save the data into the database.
3) Created BDC program(Session Method) to update custom table by reading the file maintained
by the client on the Application server directory and finally scheduling the session
immediately for processing by submitting to the report RSBDCSUB through the program
4) Carried out performance tuning of custom programs which were memory/resource intense
5) Created Smartforms for new customer output type ZBOL to convert into PDF and mail the Bill
of Lading information to the concerned person.
7) Created Table Maintenance Generator for custom table Material Price Factor Group allocation
to a Material and provided checks to validate the effective from and effective to dates are
entered correctly and also whether the period(month) of allocation is a valid month(01 – 12)
Achievements:
Won ERP tech day award in Sony India Software Center for the Automated Created table
tool, which DDIC Objects with n number of fields within 5-10 seconds.
Received spot award for the enhancement of Code Inspector & for the immediate delivery of
the tasks.
