Los Angeles, CA, June 15, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Freedman & Taitelman, LLP, a Los Angeles-based law
firm, has obtained a Summary Judgement victory involving the estate of late television star Wayne
Rogers, who was sued by ex-partner Melinda Naud for alleged unpaid child support.
The case has been in litigation since 2013, when Naud initially claimed that Rogers owed her in unpaid
expenses related to their now 32-year-old son.
Bryan Freedman, who represented the Rogers' estate, successfully argued numerous issues before the
Court. These included, but were not limited to: the failure of the Plaintiff to identify alleged breaches of a
Written Agreement between the two parties, as well as the validity of some of the Plaintiff's motions due
to statute of limitations.
“We're pleased with the Court's decision and happy to have this matter resolved,” said Bryan Freedman,
who served as lead attorney on the case. “This ruling vindicates Mr. Rogers, while at the same time,
provides closure to his family,” Freedman added.
Best known for his role as Trapper John on the smash hit television series M*A*S*H, Rogers passed
away in December, 2015 due to complications from pneumonia. He was 82.
The case was heard before the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles and overseen by the
Honorable Michael J. Raphael.
