Whereas the client desires that certain services should be performed by the Consultant,
namely;

Design and consultancy service for Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical and
External Work for the Project X at XX and has accepted a proposal by the Consultant for
the performance of such services.
NOW THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH AS FOLLOWS:-

1. The agreement is entered into freely and in good faith and the present service
is hereby reduced to writing which will be governed by the conditions
mentioned in the following clauses.
2. In this Agreement words and expressions shall have the same meanings as are
respectively assigned to them and the conditions of the client/consultant
Model Services Agreement hereinafter referred to.

3. The following documents shall be deemed to form and be read and construed
as part of the Agreement, namely:-

(i) The Conditions of the FIDIC Client / Consultant Model Services Agreement
3rd Edition 1998 (General Conditions, Particular Conditions and Commercial
Qualifications.
(ii) The Appendices, namely:-

Appendix A - Scope of Services


Appendix B - Personnel, Equipment, Facilities and Services of
others provided by Client
Appendix C - Remuneration & Payment and Commercial
Certificates
Appendix D - Programme

4. In consideration of the payments to be made by the Client to the Consultant as


hereinafter mentioned the Consultant hereby agrees with the Client to perform
the Services in conformity with the provisions of the Agreement.

5. The Client hereby agrees to pay the Consultant in consideration of the


performance of the Services such amounts as may become payable under the
provisions of the Agreement at the times and in the manner prescribed by the
Agreement.

In Witness whereof the parties hereto have caused the Agreement to be executed the day
and year first before written in accordance with their respective laws.

1.0 INTRODUCTION

Nass Contracting have appointed XX to perform the detail design and


specifications for the Architectural, Civil, MEP Services works. XX will also arrange to
obtain revised building permit (if necessary) and other approval form Local Authorities
wherever applicable.

2.0 GENERAL

1. Design & Detailing of all structural, architectural MEP works and external
work for renovation, modification, alteration, addition and deletion of the
existing structural/building located at XX to meet the Owner’s intended
residence issue design drawings, design calculations and complete
technical specification to owner appointed contractor.
2. Co-ordination with Owner appointed interior designer for interior work
and incorporate in relevant structural and architectural details into
consultant drawings for issue to contractor.
3. Review and approval of shop drawings and other detail drawings of
Owner appointed contractor/subcontractors.
4. Supervise and quality assurance of all works at Site.
5. Liaise with all authorities and obtain revised building permit (if necessary)
and completion certificate from Municipality and others.
6. Design warranty / professional indemnity as per practice.

3.0 DESIGN DELIVERABLES

1. Schedule of Programme
2. Architectural Drawings and Specification
3. Structural Drawings and Specification
4. Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage Drawings and
Specification.
5. Approvals from Local Authorities including Building permit.
6. Design Reports wherever necessary
7. Arrange for Soil investigation report and Land Survey if required.
