A Guide to ZS’s Assessment Process

As a part of our Recruitment Process, we have a Behavioral Assessment as well, this assessment is solely
designed for Campus Candidates and has specific set of Questions for each of the roles that ZS has to
offer for your campus. Candidates in this assessment would be judged on basic parameters and skills:

• General Aptitude Abilities


• Analytical Abilities
• Behavioral Fitment
• Technical Abilities (Specific to TA Role)
• Operational Knowledge

Overview of the Assessment

Round 1: Online Test


The First Round is an MCQ Based Assessment which is designed to have about 45 questions in the case
of (BOA and DAA Roles), only TA Role there would be 55 questions with an addition of 10 Additional
Technical Questions specific to the Role. The assessment would be completely “Proctored” Via audio
and video to restrict malpractice. Candidates will be flagged and rejected incase of any event of
“Malpractice”. This assessment is a cut-off based assessment and only “Selected” candidates those who
clear the cut-off will move ahead to the next round of the Assessment process.
The Second part of the Assessment will be a Video Assessment and will have a total of 8 Questions from
all the above skills and each candidate will have a total of 3 minutes per questions maximum, it is
advisable that you answer at least for 2 minutes per questions to help us understand your thought
process for each question. The Second part of the Behavioral Assessment is a written round where you
will be asked to type down your responses to 3 very general questions, please note that you will have a
total time of 15 minutes to respond to all the 3 questions.

Multiple Choice Rounds

For the MCQ Based Assessments the candidates will be given 40 mins to complete the entire section of
the assessment. This assessment is designed to assess the below skills:

• Critical Thinking
• Logical Reasoning
• Data Analysis
• Attention to Detail
• Basic Programming (only for TA)

There would be a total of 45 Questions from skills 1 to 4 & an additional 10 questions from skill 5 if you
opt for the TA Role only.
Completion and clearing this round is a mandatory requirement to progress to the next round for all
candidates.
1. There are no Negative Marks for any of the questions in the assessment process.
2. Use of Pen and Paper to solve complex problems is allowed.
3. Use of Mobile Phones, Calculators or any smart watches etc is not allowed during the assessment
process.

Please ensure that you have a steady internet connect with a minimum of 256Kbps speed interrupted
this will make your experience of the assessment seamless. Incase your assessment gets interrupted do
not worry use can use the same link and code and you will begin from where you left off.

Round 2 : Video Interview Round


For the Video Assessments will be given 60 seconds from when the question is displayed to the time the
answer recording starts, this is called the “Thinking Time” which is designed to allow you to understand
the question and gather your thoughts and jot down the points which you feel you need to answer the
question. Please note that the assessment is being Proctored Remotely and would be advised not to
switch tabs or use any application other than the assessment window, this will hamper the test results if
malpractice is found.
It’s advised to have a pen and paper with you as some of the questions require you to do some
calculations as well, would be better to keep away the mobile devices from the Assessment space.
Please ensure that you have a steady internet connect with a minimum of 256Kbps speed interrupted
this will make your experience of the assessment seamless. Ensure that you are using a good quality
microphone and keep the microphone close to your mouth while speaking to ensure you provide us
with enough Audio.

Round 3 : Case Study Round (duration 45 mins- 60 mins)


In the case study round, candidates will be given ~40 minutes to solve a case study post which, they will
be called for the debrief interview. The interview will focus on the approach used towards solving the
case and understanding the logic/analytical skills they have used to arrive at the solutions

Round 4: Evidence Based Interview (EBI) (duration 30 mins- 45 mins)


This round will assess the individual competencies & behavioral traits which are required for the role .

Round 5: Fit interview (duration 30 mins- 45 mins)


This round is conducted by a senior panel member to assess the cultural fitment of the candidate with
the organization
