RECOGNITION DAY 2018

Emcee 1: May we request everyone to please settle down as we are about to start
with the program. As we head start, allow me to acknowledge the presence of our dearest
teachers, administrative staff, students, parents and visitors. Thank you for gracing us with
your presence.

Emcee 2: (Acknowledge/mention name of people worth the mention)

Emcee 1: Anatole Fravel has once said that, to accomplish great things we must not
only act, but also dream; not only plan but also believe.” We must believe that
accomplishments will always be a product of one’s hard work and perseverance. It brings
pride and honor to those who made exemplary performance not only to be recognize and
feel better for themselves but to give memorable contributions to the school, our school,
the BALIWASAN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL.

Emcee 2: Awards are to be given today to recognize one’s accomplishment. It


defines the ability and capabilities of our dearest students who have excelled in academic,
extra-curricular activities and co-curricular activities. We are gather in this momentous
event to co-celebrate and be inspired of the successes of the students who have gone an
extra mile and who endlessly exerted much of their efforts in every genre they are in to.

Emcee 1: Now, that the quarter draws to a close,

Emcee 2: let’s get the ball rolling as we welcome you all to our

Emcee 1 & 2: RECOGNITION DAY.

Emcee 1: Good morning _______________. It is an honor to be here, to this


dignified and special event, the highlight point of the academic year.

Emcee 2: Good morning, ___________. It is indeed an honor and a privilege to host


this occasion for we will be witnessing the achiever’s remarkable triumph as they are to
reap the fruits of their labors at this very moment.

Emcee 1: And to start with, May we request everyone for the singing of the National
Anthem to be followed by the Doxology, to be given to us by the select BSHS students and
the singing of the Zamboanga Hermosa.

Emcee 2: You may now have your seats. At this juncture, Ladies and Gentlemen, to
give us the opening remarks, Let me call on, Mrs. WAFIA S. SAJILI, our MSA Adviser.
Let us all give her a big round of applause.
Emcee 1: Thank you so much Ma’am Wafia for that very energetic opening remarks.
At this point, a beautiful lady will be inspiring us with her talent. To give us an intermission
number, I would like to call on Ms. Donna Rose Sipi. A round of applause please.

Emcee 2: Thank you so much dear, for sharing with us your talent to be inspired. At
this point in time, let us lend him our ears as we listen to an inspirational message to be
given to us by an achievement and development initiator, the father of the Baliwasan Senior
High School – Our Principal, I am referring to no other than, Sir ROMEO E.
BALLESTEROS. Let us put our hands together for him.

Emcee 1: Thank you so much sir Romy, for first and foremost being an advocate of
resounding success not only to our students, teachers and administrative staffs but for the
Department of Education as a whole. (Give recognition to the speech given by the speaker)

Emcee 2: At this juncture, to introduce to us the Awards Committee - the people


have scrutinized every nominated students to be recognized this morning. Let me call on
the ever beautiful Mrs. FARRAH V. Dua. A round of applause please.

Emcee 1: Thank you Ma’am. Now, let us listen to Mr. RONEL L.LAYESE as he
read to us the Policy Guidelines of Recognition for the Perfect attendance. And to award
the Perfect Attendance, let us also call on our guidance coordinator, Mrs. JULIEFAY P.
VALENCIA.

Emcee 2: Let us move on to the next award to be presented but before that, Let first
be aware of the Policy Guidelines of Recognition for the Conduct award to be read to us
by Ms. Alhaida H. Sarahan and to be awarded by our school disciplinarian, Mr. RANULFO
R. ABLAO.

Emcee 1: The next award to be distributed is the Work Immersion to be given by


Ms. Ellen F. Padua – GAS Coordinator, but before that, Let us first listen to the Policy
Guidelines of Recognition for the Work Immersion Award to be given to us by Mrs.
MAIDA M. BAIDDIN.

Emcee 2: To break the monotony of the program, let us have some sort of
entertainment as Let us give it up for Mr. KYLE KANINDOT for an intermission number.

Emcee 1: Thank you Kyle for that very wonderful talent exposition. As we move
on to the next recognition to be awarded to the well-deserved recipients, let us call on Mrs.
Jacqueline D. Honesto to read to us the policy guidelines of recognition for the Best
Research Paper along with Dr. Deborah E. Bandahala-Stem Coordinator to deal out the
mentioned award.

Emcee 2: To add spice to this ceremony, fasten your seatbelt as we all welcome
some select BSHS students as they give us another intermission number. Let us put our
hands together for them.

Emcee 1: Let us continue with the distribution of awards, the most awaited part is
the awarding of the Academic Excellence Award. And to give us the Policy guidelines for
the Academic Excellence Award, let us all welcome the very handsome and talented
mathematician of BSHS, Mr. SHIRHAN A. BIOTTONG.

Emcee 2: To hand over the recognition for the Academic Excellence Awardees, Let
us once again call the presence of our very dynamic Principal – Mr. Romeo E. Ballesteros
and to be assisted by our very hard working and dedicated Track coordinators (Mention
Track Coordinators).

Emcee 1: Now let us move on to the next part of the program which is the Oath
Taking of the newly elected officers. To make this part possible, let us all welcome the
ever beautiful Comelec Adviser, no other than Ms. Marijoy M. Dulaca to present to us the
newly elected SSG officer and the inducting officer. A round of applause.

Emcee 2: May we request the newly elected officers to stay as we call on the Out-
going SSG President, Abdu Rahim T. Kenoh III for the Turn-over of the key of
responsibility to the In-coming SSG President, Dulla M. Tarang.

Emcee 1: (give short message or reminders for the newly elected SSG officer.)

Emcee 2: At this juncture, we will be entertained by the newly elected SSG Officers
for an intermission number. A round of applause please.

Emcee 1: Thank you newly elected SSG officers for that very entertaining
intermission number. And to give us the closing remarks, Let us put our hands together for
Mrs. VILMA V. FANTILAGAN, the BPP Adviser.
