Analysis of a square plate considering conduction

Solve the 2-D heat conduction problem for the temperature distribution within the square
plate. Neglect the convection. Thermal conductivity of the plate, KXX=40 W/(m-K).

AIM:
To perform Thermal analysis on square plate considering conduction and to find the
temp distribution along the required path and show on it in graph.
HARDWARE REQUIRED:
o Intel processor.
o A colour monitor with highest 64 bit colour display and with screen resolution 1024
by 768 pixels.
o Keyboard and a scroll mouse.
SOFTWARE REQUIRED:
o Windows 7 operating system
o Ansys 17
PROCEDURE:
Step 1: Ansys Utility Menu
File – clear and start new – do not read file – ok – yes.

Step 2: Ansys Main Menu – Preferences
