Good morning...
Father and Mother teacher friends who I respect, first of all, let us praise and thank the
Presence of Allah Almighty who has given us the grace and hidayahnya all so that we can
gather in this place, I say many thanks for the opportunity that has been given me to deliver a
speech entitled "The Importance of Moral Education".

Father, Mother and their teacher friends that I love,

Previous surely we all know that education is the most important part in the life of the nation.
Without education, it is impossible that we can continue the life of the state, especially in
maintaining the dignity of the nation in the international community. A nation can be said to
be developed in an advanced education in the country and be able to manage human and
natural resources for the welfare of its citizens well. For that reason, many efforts have been
made jointly by the parties for the promotion of education in Indonesia.

However, equipping future generations with science and technology alone is not sufficient to
continue to advance even the nation. They need to get a form of moral education as the
nation's next generation of personal morals, honest and responsible. Moral education is one of
the nation's capital to improve conditions.

Father, mother and their teacher friends that I love,

We certainly realize that the fall of a nation can be caused by damage to the morale of its
citizens. Could be moral damage caused by the citizens themselves who can not control
themselves with faith and devotion to the Creator. In addition, the destruction of ethics can
also be due to too complacent with television shows or entertainments that are less educated.
The evidence suggests that the next generation needs moral guidance, especially from the
families and the school. This is reflected in the news revealed that internet cafes in large
cities most visited by students, including children of primary school and junior high.
However, it turns out most of these visitors-including elementary and junior high school
students did not use the internet as well as possible. They do not use it to find information or
learn something positive, but use it to get the negative things, such as pornography. Of course
this is very disturbing fact many parties, especially for parents and teachers. While the facts
about the ethics of honesty that feared the collapse will continue, has become a familiar story
to be heard, such as corruption, bribery, the loss of the rule of law, etc.. Therefore, it is
obligatory for us, especially parents and educators, to pay attention to education of future
generations of the nation. Not only the general education course, but more importantly moral
education and formation of faith and devotion to the Creator so that the next generation has
the personality sublime and high ideals. Thus, progress and prosperity of the nation is
expected to be realized.

Bapak ibu guru beserta teman-teman yang saya hormati, pertama-tama marilah kita panjatkan
puji dan syukur Kehadirat Allah Yang Maha Esa yang telah memberikan rahmat dan
hidayahnya kepada kita semua sehingga kita dapat berkumpul ditempat ini, saya ucapkan
banyak terimakasih atas kesempatan yang telah diberikan kepada saya untuk menyampaikan
sebuah pidato yang berjudul “Pentingnya Pendidikan Moral”.

Bapak ibu guru beserta teman-teman yang saya cintai,

Sebelumnya pasti Kita semua tahu bahwa pendidikan adalah bagian terpenting dalam
kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Tanpa pendidikan, mustahil kita dapat melanjutkan
kehidupan bernegara, terlebih mempertahankan martabat bangsa di mata internasional.
Sebuah bangsa dapat dikatakan maju apabila pendidikan di negara tersebut maju dan dapat
mengelola SDM dan SDA dengan baik untuk kesejahteraan warganya. Untuk itu, berbagai
upaya telah dilakukan bersama oleh berbagai pihak demi memajukan pendidikan Indonesia.

Namun demikian, membekali generasi masa depan dengan iptek saja tidaklah memadai guna
melanjutkan bahkan memajukan kehidupan bangsa. Mereka perlu mendapatkan pendidikan
moral yang membentuk generasi penerus bangsa sebagai pribadi yang berakhlak mulia, jujur
dan bertanggung jawab. Pendidikan moral inilah salah satu modal untuk memperbaiki kondisi
bangsa.

Bapa ibu guru beserta teman-teman yang saya cintai,

Kita tentu menyadari bahwa keterpurukan suatu bangsa dapat disebabkan oleh rusaknya
moral warganya. Bisa jadi rusaknya moral disebabkan oleh warga itu sendiri yang tidak dapat
mengontrol diri dengan keimanan dan ketakwaan kepada Sang Pencipta. Selain itu, rusaknya
etika juga bisa karena terlalu terlena dengan tayangan televisi ataupun hiburan-hiburan yang
kurang mendidik. Fakta menunjukkan bahwa generasi penerus bangsa membutuhkan
pembinaan moral terutama dari keluarga dan pihak sekolah. Hal ini tercermin dari berita yang
mengungkap bahwa warung internet di kota-kota besar sebagian besar dikunjungi oleh para
pelajar dan mahasiswa, termasuk anak-anak sekolah dasar dan menengah pertama. Akan
tetapi, ternyata sebagian pengunjung tersebut –termasuk siswa SD dan SMP– tidak
menggunakan fasilitas internet dengan sebaik-baiknya. Mereka tidak menggunakannya untuk
mencari informasi atau mempelajari hal-hal yang positif, tetapi menggunakannya untuk
mendapatkan hal-hal yang negatif, seperti pornografi. Tentu fakta ini sangat meresahkan
banyak pihak, terutama bagi para orang tua dan guru. Sedangkan fakta tentang runtuhnya
etika kejujuran yang dikhawatirkan akan terus berlanjut, sudah menjadi berita yang tak asing
lagi didengar, seperti : korupsi, penyuapan, hilangnya supremasi hukum, dsb. Oleh karena itu,
sudah menjadi kewajiban bagi kita, terutama para orang tua dan pendidik, untuk
memperhatikan pendidikan generasi masa depan bangsa. Tidak hanya pendidikan umum saja,
tetapi yang lebih penting pendidikan moral dan pembinaan keimanan dan ketakwaan kepada
Sang Pencipta agar generasi penerus bangsa berkepribadian luhur dan memiliki idealisme
tinggi. Dengan demikian, kemajuan dan kesejahteraan bangsa diharapkan dapat segera
terwujud.

Hadirin sekalian yang saya banggakan,

Demikian yang dapat saya sampaikan, mohon maaf apabila masih banyak kesalahan dala

First, I want to say thank you to Allah, who give me a time to speech in this special moment. Also to
Prophet Muhammad, his families, and his friends.

The Indonesian Declaration of Independence was officially proclaimed at 10.00 a.m. sharp on Friday,
August 17, 1945. The declaration marked the start of the five year diplomatic and armed-resistance
of the Indonesian National Revolution, fighting against the forces of the Netherlands until the latter
officially acknowledged Indonesia's independence in 1949. In 2005, the Netherlands declared that
they recognized Indonesian independence is in 1945, not 1949.

Every year on 17th August, Indonesia’s celebrate the Independence Day. It’s very fun. There are a lot
of contest, like Panjat Pinang. And in Istana Merdeka, they are having ceremony. May be, some of
you go to have celebrate. You must be spirit in the Independence Day, you look our hero, and they
are held the pass to gain freedom. And us, we’re as the student, we have to have spirit to celebrate
the Independence Day. If you confess you’re Indonesia’s people, you must care about Indonesia, the
Independence Day of Indonesia, and all of Indonesia you must like, because it’s your country.

Internet originally used in military and university. But now, general public around the world can
