2. MAIN BODY OF BUSINESS IDEA

PRODUCT OR SERVICE DESCRIPTION

 GENERAL DESCRIPTION

A hijab is a veil worn by some Muslim women in the presence of any male outside
of their immediate family, which usually covers the head and chest. The word hijab
in the Quran refers not to women's clothing, but rather a spatial partition or curtain.
The term can refer to any head, face, or body covering worn by Muslim women
that conforms to a certain standard of modesty. Hijab can also be used to refer to
the seclusion of women from men in the public sphere, or it may denote a
metaphysical dimension, for example referring to "the veil which separates man or
the world from God".

 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Lilac Hijab is a company which invents scarves that mostly known as headscarves
to Muslim women. As it is obligated for Muslim women to cover their aurah, our
company offers a perfect and applicable product to follow the Syariah’s law which
is scarf. However, our scarf can be worn as headscarf for Muslim women or
common scarf for women who wants to cover their neck only. So it is versatile for
all women around the world. Lilac Hijab is the first product invented by our
company. Our company has gone through one and a half years of research to
produce a marketable product which is scarves for Muslim women that is beneficial
to the consumers.

2. 1 MATERIALS

We use various fabrics and materials to produce the scarves. We have done a
study to find an ideal fabric and material for scarf. So we have chosen some
fabrics for our products which are mixed crepe, crepe chiffon silk, chiffon
georgette and jersey.

5
When the scarf with mixed crepe material is worn, it will give a flowy effect which
introduces a comfortable feeling and beautiful yet creative design. In addition,
the material is easy to iron and it exhibits the cooling feeling. Besides that, it is
also easy to shape and does not crease easily when it is worn as headscarf.

Jersey is a knit fabric used predominantly for clothing manufacture. It was

originally made of wool, but is now made of wool, cotton, and synthetic fibers.
Since medieval times, Jersey, Channel Islands, where the material was first
produced, had been an important exporter of knitted goods and the fabric in
wool from Jersey became well known. The fabric can be a very stretchy single
knitting, usually light-weight, jersey with one flat side and one piled side .So,
the scarf is practically ironless and easier for women to wear especially moms
and students. Our scarf is easy to be washed and cleaned even though the dirt
on the scarf’s surface is hard to remove.

Georgette is quite similar to chiffon in drape and feel. It is only slightly heavier
than chiffon and a bit less sheer. It is ideal for outdoor or daytime weddings, as
its light weight will keep girls cool. It gives a cosy pleased feeling as it is cooling
material and it is opaque. So, the wearer does not have to wear the inner scarf.

Silk Chiffon is an elegant, sheer fabric with a soft, beautiful drape and crepe-
like texture. Stronger and heavier than silk Gauze, woven in a way that even
the heaviest weights are sheer. It offers a luxurious effect and feelings to the
wearer as it is a lightweight material.

2.2 PACKAGING

For our products, packaging is the most essential part as it gives the first
impression to the customers. We choose the best packaging box to present our
products properly. The scarf is put in the thin plastic to cover it and prevent and
defect. Then, it is beautifully wrapped in a box which is creatively designed by
our designer. This type of packaging choose because it is practical yet look
exclusively. If the customer wants to give our product as a gift, this packaging
is perfect as it completes the idea of gift packaging. Here is the example of the
packaging box:

woman loves to buy from them as they are a senior in this field.

For geographic, geographic concentration of people and their activity has been and
always will be a constant feature of human existence. In broad historical terms, the
concentration of people in villages, towns, and cities has served many cultural,
security, and commercial ends. Dense pockets of people enable a shared culture,
ease enforcement of the rule of law, facilitate a common defense, allow efficient
economic exchange, and free people to acquire specialized skills and knowledge. In
the modern era, the defensive walls of ancient cities have given way to the provision
of public goods and the operation of local markets open to all to buy and sell consumer
and commercial necessities.

15
