And follow my lead
Well I found a girl beautiful and sweet
I never knew you were the someone waiting for me
'Cause we were just kids when we fell in love
Not knowing what it was
I will not give you up this time
But darling, just kiss me slow, your heart is all I own
And in your eyes you're holding mine
 Baby, I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms
Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song
When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath
But you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight
Well I found a woman, stronger than anyone I know
She shares my dreams, I hope that someday I'll share her home

To carry love, to carry children of our own
We are still kids, but we're so in love
Fighting against all odds
I know we'll be alright this time
Darling, just hold my hand
Be my girl, I'll be your man
I see my future in your eyes
Baby, I'm dancing in the dark, with you between my arms

The sense of taste is one of a person's five senses. We taste with the help of taste-buds in the
tongue. There are four main kinds of taste: sweet, sour, salty, and bitter. All other tastes are just
mixtures of two or more of these main types.
The surface of the tongue has more than fifteen thousand taste-buds (or cells). These are
connected to the brain by special nerves which send the so-called 'tastes messages. When the

7
tongue comes into contact with food of any kind, the taste-buds will pick up the taste. The nerves
then send a message to the brain. This will make us aware of the taste. All this happens in just a
few seconds.
There are four kinds of taste-buds, each of which is sensitive to only a particular taste. These
four groups are located in different parts of the tongue. The taste-buds for salty and sweet tastes
are found around the tip of the tongue and along its sides. Sour tastes can be picked up only at the
sides of the tongue. The taste-buds of the bitter taste are found at the innermost edge of the
tongue. There are taste-buds at the centre of the tongue.
The senses of smell and sight can affect taste. The good smell of food increases its taste.
Similarly, attractive colours can make food appear tastier and more delicious. If food does not
smell good or is dull-coloured, it will not look tasty and may not taste good at all.
Very hot or cold sensations can make the taste-buds insensitive. Food that is too hot or too
cold, when placed in the mouth, will have no tastes at all.

23. What does the text tell us about?

B. People can’t taste sour at the tongue
C. The majority taste of sour is at the side of the tongue
D. Side tongue is the only part of the tongue to taste sour
E. People sometimes taste sour by the side part of the tongue

25. What is the main idea of paragraph 3?

A. Sense of taste is one of the five sense
B. The smell and sight of food can affect taste
C. Tongue has more than thousands of taste-bud
D. Taste bud is only sensitive to a particular taste
E. Hot and cold can make the taste bud sensitive

26. From the text we can conclude that when we eat very hot or cold food, …
A. the food will lose its taste.
B. the food won't smell good.
C. the taste of the food increases.
D. the food will be more delicious.
