FROM WATER METER
A DepEd-BEAM Distance Learning Program supported by the Australian Agency for International Development
To the Learner
Hi, dear learner! In the previous lesson you have learned already
how to read and interpret readings from electric meter. This time let’s
see if you know how to read and interpret readings from water meter.
Just take time to study and answer the exercises given.
So, in this learning module, it is expected that you will be able to:
Write the water meter readings in Liters and cubic meters (m³).
L m³
1. 0 0 0 0 4 5 1
2. 0 0 0 0 1 6 0
- 11 -
3. 0 0 0 0 0 7 5
4. 0 0 0 5 4 0 3
5. 0 0 2 1 4 5 6
1 m³ = 1000 L
So the number of cubic meters consumed based on the given
water meter above is 0.592 m³ or 592 L.
1. 0 0 0 0 0 7 9 0.079 m³ or 79 Liters
