drinking water, balanced nutrition, communicable disease, etc. to children.
Encourage them about Proper nutrition, physical exercise, rest and sleep,
cleanliness, and medical care are essential parts of maintaining good health.
Explain them important aspects of good personal health, for example regular
toilet habits, Washing hands before eating, Bathing regularly and wearing
clean clothes, Cleaning the teeth, Exercise, Regular sleep and relaxation etc.
Explain the role of proper nutrition, healthy habits and physical exercise in
maintaining good health.
Skills
The concept of School plant is described as the site, the buildings, the equipment and all the
essential structures, permanent and semi-permanent as well as such machines and laboratory
equipment, the blackboard/chalkboard needed for effective teaching and learning.
The school managers should form committee to take care of school plant on a regular basis
and present a written report to the school principal.

Should organize camps and other outdoor co-curricular and recreational
activities according to the level of the children.
Symptoms and signs of Health disturbances: This may be in the form of loss of appetite, frequent
vomiting, headache and stomach ache, etc.
Before the start of the class each day, the Teacher should keenly observe her students and
notice for any signs of infectious/contagious diseases such as Cold, Flu, Sore throat, vomiting,
sweating, etc. In these cases, the Teacher should contact the concerned parents immediately
and ask them to take the child back home or sent to the
nearest hospital.
