    Parameter Management Feature

    This feature gives users the ability to save PLD and VCU parameter sets to their hard drive and
    retrieve them for future use. The following steps will take you through this process.

    1. Connect to your PLD and/or VCU.


    2. Open the MBE reprogramming software and wait for the “R” to be displayed in the upper
    left-hand corner of your screen. You’re now connected to your control modules.

    3. Select Update Calibration. This will automatically generate a parameter file and save it
    to your hard drive.
    4. Print these parameters by selecting Print from the File Menu.

    5. From this screen, make all of your preferred changes and select Send Customer
    Calibration.

    6. The MBE Communications screen is now accessing the parameter set on your control
    module.
    7. You will be prompted to enter the engine serial number.

    8. Click OK.

    NOTE: This screen will only be displayed if you’re directly connected to your VCU.
    You will not see this screen if you’re connected to your vehicle through your
    diagnostic connector.

    9. The following screen will be displayed confirming the parameter download.

    10. When you select Return to Welcome Screen, you will be prompted to Turn Ignition Off
    to commit changes to the control module. Select YES.

    11. Turn Ignition On to complete this process.
