ART EXPRESS
INTRODUCTION
This project was started by Erika J. Barcena and Glecy Anne V. Arbues, a student of
G10- Sardonyx at Tanza National Trade School and dedicated to our classmates who has
an endless love for arts and commitment to the community. We always believed that our
community can reach out for higher education and higher level career. We do believed that
everyone can overcome life challengers and obstacles through hardwork and patience
while keeping our faith.
We hope that one day we can do this business for real so we can do our best to
work hard and help others and find a way to continue our legacy.
Art is the way of saying our feelings and thoughts by doing it in creative way other
than talking and writing. We want to establish a business where in we can enhance their
capability, talent and imagination that will help them to realize their full potential and will
able to express themselves through art.
The business we are going to establish is called “Art Express”, which is a learning
center that teaches about visual art and performative art.
The reasons why we will establish this business are; to create a workable art center
so that the community will develop a better future of art learners, to discover learners in our
community, to better understand what type of art center is most needed in our community
and to create employment.
This study focuses the people who has talent in art but does not have enough time and
knowledge to pursue what they want. At the end, this study shall answer the following
questions:
If enrolled in one of our lessons we will teach from basic to extreme and for painting
after undergoing the basic training, they will choose between the three strands, the water
color, acrylic and oil paint. If enrolled in one of our class, we will make sure that after they
graduated in one of our class their skill will be improved. Our classes can help students and
adults who have talent but have no guide line, for student that our lesson can help them in
their project and outputs. For the older ones it can help them establish their own business
after they graduated in our class. For performative art we will be teaching about theatre
plays, acting, playing instrument and singing.
We offered to teach how to draw, paint, act on theater, play musical instruments,
singing and dancing, but we do not teach digital art and computer base art because it cost
lot of money, but we can offer it when we have enough amount of money.
The materials needed in our class are the following; for the basic: sketch pad or
vellum paper, pencil and eraser; for painting: sketch pad or vellum paper, water color or
poster paint and brush. But they don’t have to worry about those things because we will be
the one to provide it and will it be added to their total fee. Each session will take three hours
every weekend.
