RESPONSIBILITIES
 Implement and promote Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness and standard procedures.
 Lead the HSE Officers on the site and distribute the tasks according to the site needs.
 Schedule site inspections to monitor and ensure compliance of proper safety procedures and
regulations.
 Preparing & Managing the HSE files and documents.
 Checking and requisition of safety material items for the project
 Investigate the incidents/ accidents.
 Monitoring the Tool Box Talk for the Sub- Con which is given by Safety Trainer.
 Ensuring permit system is implemented.
 Making daily observation reports regarding unsafe procedure in the job site and preventive steps
taken to avoid re- occurrence.
 Assessing and implementing safe working arrangements.
 Ensure that immediate safety actions arising from site activities are being carried out.
 Coordinate with Construction Team about the safety observation logs which are taken in the
safety site inspection to make sure they will implement it in site.
 Provision plans for the site safety requirement according to the construction and other
departments.
 Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports Coordinate with Head Office Safety Department and
other HSE Senior Engineers to achieve targets on the project.
 Following up the site close out actions with those responsible.
 Coordinate with Sub- Contractors and ensure that they are inducted and implement our safety
regulations.
 Provide information (Alerts and Advisories) on possible hazards and precaution to be taken to
site safety team and Project Manager.
 Advise Project HSE Manager on the site related issues and gather support to promote the site
safety team.
 Prepare and distribute Safety training material to Site safety staff.
 To ensure that proper Accident Investigation has been done, reported and communicated to the
workforce properly.
 Prepare training schedule for the site staff and workers to be attended by the Safety Trainer.
 Moral and administrative support to the site team to deal with day to day issues.
 Coordinate, promote and ensure safety training to employees on HSE topics and responsibilities.
