VECTUS VL Series
Centralised Network PA System

VECTUS VL Series - Centralised Network PA System

The VL Series is a combination of PA system hardware and software built on VECTUSnet, AEX SYSTEM’s high-level proprietary integrated network
communication protocol which is built on top of TCP/IP. The ontology of VECTUSnet is to heuristically optimize the interactive operation of multiple
subsystem on network environment. It has been specifically created by AEX SYSTEM to provide the most manageable integration of Digital Audio,
Video & Data Information.

This allows for the implementation of a centralised PA system with VECTUS array of paging and surveillance features. The VL Series also makes
previously unattainable integration of the conventional PA system with other building services possible. TCP/IP compliant systems such as the Fire
Alarm System, CCTV System, Intrusion System and Building Management System can now be integrated to provide instantaneous voice assisted
response to each system. All these are accomplished within a single network system.

VECTUS VN Series
Distributed Network PA System

VECTUS VN Series - Distributed Network PA System

Until recently, designing and building audio distribution systems with any degree of flexibility and intelligence has been a
difficult and expensive undertaking, requiring large expenditures on wiring, conduit, switching equipment and installation
labour. In addition, conventional public address systems using traditional analog technology have the added disadvan-
tage of often being difficult and prohibitively expensive to reconfigure once installed.

The VECTUS VN Series Distributed Network PA System is built on VECTUSnet, AEX SYSTEM’S own TCP/IP based
proprietary network communication protocol that provides a platform for integration of Digital Audio, Video & Data
information. With VECTUS, any audio input can be dynamically routed under software control to any audio output on the
network in any combination, providing unparalleled routing flexibility; all over standard Ethernet.

Full remote control over the network is a standard part of the protocol with re-routing of audio easily accomplished via
software rather than with expensive re-cabling or use of dedicated analog switching. Use of standard Ethernet wiring
further reduces costs. Most facilities have a data network that carries computer files, HVAC control, security, etc. Network
PA technology allows for the co-existence of audio and data traffic over existing standard Ethernet infrastructure resulting
in substantial savings in design and installation.

With previously unattainable routing, control and monitoring flexibility, reduced system set-up and installation costs and
delivery of high quality audio, VECTUS is set to introduce a whole new meaning of a Digital Public Address System.

VN 12 Network System Manager

The VN 12 Network System Manager provides a simplistic and user-friendly Windows based
graphical user interface for system initialization steps such as node search, node address
configuration, zone configuration and programming of the function keys at the paging consoles. After
system initialization, the audio routing pattern and priority setting is performed together with the
programming of the VECTUS I/O devices. The Network System Manager recommended to be
continuously logged on to the network at all time after the settings are done.

VN 13 Audio Streaming Manager

The VN 13 Audio Streaming Manager enables the user to stream up to 5 simultaneous channels of
audio from a PC into the network over a single Ethernet connection instead of traditional sources
such as CD, MD, or cassette deck. Each channel will have its own play list and playback mode,
which configurable from the GUI. It is ideal for applications that require selection of multi channels of
audio such as in a hotel where guests are able to select the music of their preference to their own
rooms or shopping mall where retail stores are able to select the program to meet their needs. The
Audio Streaming Manager is also able to perform 3 simultaneous time scheduled digital message
playback and 4 simultaneous event triggered digital message playback.

VN 21S Network Paging Station (Standard)

The VN 21S converts a normal workstation PC into a full fledged Paging Station with additional
features that never before could an ordinary paging console do. The operator now could make
zone selection either from a graphical map or floor plan to assist the operator visually or from
the GUI layout, similar to a paging console for button selection. The Text Streaming feature
allows announcements to be entered in text, real-time or pre-stored. The text will then be
synthesised into human voice and broadcasted. Text streaming assures that all announcements
made are consistent in voice, pronunciation, rate of speech and loudness. VT 61 paging
gooseneck microphone to be connected to the audio input of the PC is available for use with

TCP/IP Network Matrix PA System

VECTUS VEB Series

- TCP/IP Network Matrix PA System
The VECTUS VEB Series Network Matrix PA System is the latest TCP/IP based PA System offering from AEX
SYSTEM. The system runs on AEX SYSTEM’s tried and tested TCP/IP network communication
protocol that provides a platform for audio and control data routing over standard Ethernet (LAN)
infrastructure. The system is fully scalable and capable of supporting up to 32 simultaneous audio channels,
making it suitable for a simple application up to the most complex of public address systems.
Supporting a distributed architecture also makes the VEB Series an indispensible solution for mixed
development projects that consist of multiple blocks and multiple sub PA Systems that require site-wide
integration. With a failsafe mode, the VEB also ensures emergency evacuation functionality even with major
failure to the Ethernet (LAN) infrastructure.
The VEB Series also features advance touch screen Network paging consoles with extremely user friendly
graphic user interface. These network paging consoles can even be connected and used via WIFI
infrastructure allowing the consoles to be portable for added practicality.

VEB 12-IPC Network System Manager Unit

The Network System Manager unit is designed to provide overall system governance of the
VEB Network PA System. The unit will provide the user interface for system initialization
steps such as; VEB unit nodes search, VEB units address configuration, zone configuration VEB 12-IPC
and audio pattern routings. The Network System Manager can also act as a time scheduler

CX Series Flush Mount 2-Way Coaxial Ceiling Loudpeaker

Coaxial Ceiling Loudspeakers are well sought-after in installations that require good musical quality reproduction for its ability to produce a wider
audio bandwidth due to its individually dedicated transducers for the high & low frequencies. Being coaxially mounted improves the sound
alignment, close to a single point-source. The CX 611 is fitted with a 160 mm coaxial transducer while the CX 815, a 200 mm coaxial transducer.
Both models are transformerised for 100V line systems, 10W (CX 611) and 15W (CX 815). Its slim profile grille & fine metal mesh makes the unit
blend into its surroundings seamlessly. Both models have options of a metal back enclosure; CX 611E and CX 815E.
