century it was systematically, promote as cultivating tool. Today, the different beliefs and

For many years, Educators faced the problem in making the English class more enjoyable,
relevant, exciting and significant place for students to learn. Still it is not different even we are
on the 21st Century. Many students are not satisfied because they portray the English class as
boring place, which was no connection to the outside world (Busman, 2011)
Learning is the act of gathering skills, knowledge and enhancing our behavior, which may
lead us to be a better person and a successful one. This is one of the most important things that
we need to build and develop in the very first stages of our lives. Through the help of our
teachers, we were able to learn the basic stuff and more advanced ones. Teachers are the person
who assists us to acquire knowledge that will help us to reach our dreams and goals in life.
In our early ages from Grade 1 onwards, children’s have feared speaking in English. For the fact
that they might mispronounce words that may cause bullying to them.
The goodness of EOP is that it can develop one capability while interacting with others. The
main reason for it is for the students of Jocson College to be fluent on speaking English. They are

to practice English is a great choice as a second language as it is one of the main global economic
languages used in International Business and Collaboration. Now a days speaking in English is very
easy because of English Movies and Music that we can easily access through Internet or Television.
The study that the researcher had made could help the students on being more attentive to their
duties on communication skill especially to English Language. When they practice English as their
daily tool of communication, they can master it. From that, they can compete with Globally
Competitive.
The researchers chose this topic, because they want to open everyone’s mind and see
what kind of problems the senior high school students face especially in interpreting themselves
in using English Language. DepEd stated that the student might learn the basics so that when
they go to college they are completely prepared on what courses they want to take. Contrary to
it, most of the students have a less learning progress rather than gaining more knowledge in this
new curriculum because of the lack of understanding in English Language. Too early to
conclude, a great challenge is laid upon the additional two years in high school, the government
should seriously look into the quality of teachers and their abilities and skills in guiding,
mentoring and rearing these students, as it is said repeatedly… “You cannot give what you do
not have.” “A good education can change anyone, A good teacher can change everything. ”The

school student in their class at Jocson College Incorporated first semester of the Academic year
(2017-2018) this study was conducted among Grade 11 and Grade 12 students of Jocson
