    STUDENT ACTOR RELEASE AGREEMENT

    THIS AGREEMENT is between _ _ (hereinafter “Directors” or “Director”) and

    ___________________ (hereinafter “Student Actor” or “Student”).

    Directors intend to produce a musical titled Seussical Jr. at (performance space) through
    the duration of the 2019 - 2020 school year.

    The Directors wish to guide the student actors in connection with the production of
    Seussical Jr. upon the terms and conditions herein contained. Accordingly, it is agreed as
    follows:

    1. ROLE: Director hereby engages student to play a role in musical to the best of their
    ability. This agreement is for producing the musical only. Director DOES guarantee student
    a role in the musical, but student is expected to hereunder take a role in the musical and put
    effort into learning the role, acting, singing, and dancing at rehearsal and in the show.

    2. WARDROBE: Student will take care of costume or any given wardrobe, in addition to
    providing their own basic clothing items (shoes, shorts, etc.) Student shall also come to
    rehearsal with comfortable clothing that will not restrict them from doing show
    choreography or acting.

    3. NAME AND LIKENESS: Director shall have the right to use the student’s name,
    sobriquet, photographs, and voice in connection with the musical or advertising for the
    musical, Seussical Jr. Student’s name will appear in the show program.

    4. NON DISCLOSURE: Student will not record audio or visual footage from the rehearsal
    process other than for personal use only. It is in direct violation of MTI’s (Music Theatre
    International) Terms and Conditions agreement policy. https://www.mtishows.com/legal
    Absolutely no video or audio of the show/rehearsal process can uploaded, posted,
    transmitted, distributed or otherwise published to social media or the internet.

    THE SALE OR DISTRIBUTION OF ANY VIDEO RECORDING IS STRICTLY


    PROHIBITED UNDER FEDERAL COPYRIGHT LAW.

    5. DIRECTOR RIGHTS: We reserve the right to remove student from rehearsal or
    performance if necessary.

    This document must be read, signed, and returned to a director to participate in ///
    2019 - 2020.
    Please only return THIS paper to the directors once properly filled out. We ask that
    you keep the agreement paper for personal reference.
