GENERAL COMMENTS

Term 2 K1 Starfish 2016-2017

Andrew is a friendly and pleasant student. He easily gets

along with his friends. He shows good improvement to reveal his
ideas during class discussions and displays eagerness to learn in
all learning areas. Although; he is advised to accomplish written
tasks independently and on time. His range of speaking voice is
now improving and acquires confidence to engage ideas during
discussion, yet; easily be distracted by the things around which
diverts his attention away from the lesson. He is advised to
practice reading and writing more often in Bahasa Indonesia.
In Maths, he acquires to cope with the numeral concepts and
counting forward 1- 20, however; he needs practice to count
backward . He displays interest and eagerness by revealing his
ideas during discussion in Science. He can read simple words
with little guidance; however his writing skill in Bahasa Indonesia
needs to be improved. More practice in writing and reading are
recommended for better result. His fine motor skills needs to
improve.

CCA Taekwondo
shows graduall progress in following taekwondo movement with impact and can
follow the basic technique of taekwondo well.
Jong Suin

Suin is a smart, cheerful and friendly student. She displays

enthusiasm in all learning areas. She comprehends every lesson
being taught and engages interactively during class discussion.
She easily gets along with her classmates and easily copes with
any challenges that comes along with the activities and lessons in
class. Her daily assignments are always completed in a timely
manner, yet; to be efficient in writing and accomplishing worksheet
task to avoid careless mistakes. She can concentrate to follow the
lessons and grab the materials easily .
In Maths, she can count and do basic numerical concepts such as
counting forward and counting backward 1- 20, however; she
needs practice to write the numbers words neatly and following the
lines. In Science, she has shown her curiosity by listening
attentively and respond confidently to the questions being asked.
In Bahasa Indonesia, she can read the words learned
independently and independently. Overall, she really great
progress in all learning areas.

 Louis is an obedient learner. He follows the school rules and
always listens to the teachers attentively. Recently, he likes to
talk ,shares and plays with his friends. He can grasp and
comprehend the lessons; however he is advised to be proactive to
express his ideas during class discussion. However , he can
manage to finish given tasks on time. He writes nicely and neatly
especially when being motivated well. In Maths, he acquires the
concepts of counting forward, backward and recognizing number
words 1 -20 . He needs drill , practice fully and encouragement to
master the counting forward and backward.
In Science, he displays interest in coping with the lessons
especially about Personal Hygiene, however; he needs
encouragement to answer the questions related to the topic given.
In Bahasa Indonesia, he shows improvement in his hand
writing ,unless he need guidance and practice fully in reading
words.

CCA Music
can sing joyfully with his friends. He can sing with proper intonation and melody.
Although, he has a soft voice, he enjoys singing from his heart.
is a persevere learner. He has shown better progress in his attitude towards class
routines, yet; he is advised to strengthen his effort to perform school tasks in all
learning areas. He needs encouragement and motivation to manage the time
effeciently especially in accomplishing written task. He can achieve best results once

CCA Music
is able to participate and cooperate with his team group when singing. He
shows good understanding of instruction in musical concepts and skills. Good

is a friendly student. She enjoys spending time with friends and treats them in a fine
manner. She has shown good improvement to reveal her ideas during class
discussions and accomplish school tasks confidently. She understands the
importance of sharing and works well in a group setting. She is making great strides
in following the lessons and has consistently shown improvement in weak subject
areas. Her speaking, comprehension and reasoning skills are commendable and
improve her reading skill in English. However; constant practice in reading and
writing should be done often to achieve best results especially her handwriting. In
Maths, she acquires to cope with the numeral concepts and solves simple process
of subtraction and counting forward and backward of numbers from 1-50, though;
she needs practice to do the dictation in counting backward. She really shows her
interest during class discussion in Science by revealing her ideas specially about
Community Helpers and Air Transportation. Her fine motor skills need to enhance

is fond of singing and truly engage herself to participate in the group. She is enjoying
the melody and is able to move her body following the beat while singing. She has a
gentle and good singing voice.

is an enthusiastic and independent learner. She displays enthusiasm and eagerness
for learning and gains self confidence to accomplish the tasks given in all learning
areas. She shows positive leadership qualities in the class and well respected by her
peers. She demonstrates responsible behaviour by working cooperatively in a
group and showing appreciation for the efforts of others. She can manage the time
effeciently in accomplishing the task and volunteer to guide her friends as well. She
has now gained confidence and managed to control stage fright during stage
performance. Her writing, reading and comprehension skills in English are gradually
improving. However; she is advised to express ideas with confidence especially in
interactive discussion. Constant practice in reading with comprehension is still
recommended to achieve full potential. She writes neatly and legibly following the
required lines. In Bahasa Indonesia, she can read and write the words and phrases

CCA Ballet:

She is very diligent and eager to learn in ballet. She can easily get the steps when it
is introduce and execute steps correctly. She always appoint as a model to do the
action or steps.
is a friendly student. He easily sosializes and enjoys spending time with friends in
the class. He often needs full assistance to cope with the lessons and motivation to
concentrate to finish given task in all learning areas. He listens attentively during
class discussion, yet; to interact responsively in sharing thoughts during discussion.
His reading, writing and comprehension skills in English are still need to improve. In
Bahasa Indonesia, he needs assistance in reading and writing simple words and
phrases. He is advised to be trained consistently both in reading and writing by
himself to develop the skills confidently. In Science and Maths, he needs practice to
comprehend the lessons given. He is advised to review all the lessons being learned.
His fine motor skills need to practice more especially in threading. He can
accomplish assigned task in Computer with assistance by the teacher. His ability to
cope with the Chinese Mandarin lessons needs encouragement to fulfill with effort.
Overall, he needs guidance and full concentration to achieve better results in all
learning areas.

CCA Dancing
He can follow various dance steps and perform action songs cheerfully.
is an intelligent and independent learner in class. She listens
attentively and shows eagerness to learn. She expresses to share ideas
and gains self confidence in performing task given in all learning areas on time. She
loves sharing ideas and stories with friends and even assisting them to accomplish
task with simple instruction. She is responsible in tending personal belongings and
tidying up toys after playing. She never hesitates to ask help from the teacher when
facing difficulty. Her writing, reading and comprehension skills in English are
gradually improving. However; she is advised to express ideas with confidence
especially in interactive discussion. Constant practice in reading with
comprehension is still recommended to achieve full potential. In Bahasa Indonesia,
she can read with fluency and write words and phrases legibly. In Science , she
displays interest in engaging her ideas about different types of feelings and emotions
as well as in personal hygiene. In Math, she can count forward and backward of
numbers from 1-50, recognize patterns learned and ascending numbers, write
number words through dictation and solve simple problem in subtraction efficiently.
Her fine motor skills are developing progressively.

CCA Music
is a cooperative student. She displays good sense of listening to the music and
follow instruction to sing confidently.
Good job
 is a friendly and eager learner. She loves to play and tells stories to her
friends. She can comprehend the lessons and accomplish task given in all
learning areas. However; at times, when mood swing attacks it affects her
performance in class. She behaves and reacts appropriately in different
situations. Her reading, comprehension, speaking and writing skills in English
have shown gradual progress. Continous practice is still needed to develop
fully those skills. In Maths, she is capable in recognizing number concepts,
such as; counting forward and backward of numbers from 1 to 50, writing
number words and performs simple process using subtraction and ascending
numbers. She needs self- confidence to express her ideas in front of the class.
In Science, she obtains the lessons taught effeciently. She is capable of
reading and writing simple words, phrases accurately in Bahasa Indonesia as

developing, yet; to enhance more her handwriting to produce legible written
task. She can fulfill and follow instructions every hands-on task in Computer.

CCA Ballet
She is very calm student who loves dancing. However; she still needs to
develop body coordination and grace to make her more confident in dancing.

tries to perform her best in the class. She can finish assigned task independently and
possess good leadership quality that manage her team to work well during hands-on

is a very good ballet dancer. She’s graceful and knows how to project herself during
the performances on stage, however; at times, she’s timid to perform alone if
required.

and possesses good concentration in following the lessons. She can memorize the

Aaron is a pleasant and polite student. He respects and treats peers and adults in
a fine manner in and out of the classroom. He likes to assist his friends and the
teachers even without being told. His level of confidence to perform in a crowd is
worthy to be praised of. He conveys his ideas fairly well during class discussion. He
can accomplish given task independently and volunteer to guide his friends to finish
certain task. He can comprehend the lessons well and eager to take part during
class discussions. His reading, comprehension, speaking and writing skills in
English have shown better progress. However; constant practice still needed to gain
fluency in these skills. In Bahasa Indonesia , he can read words and phrases fluently
and write through dictation. He exert his best in Maths’ basic operation concept in

Dean Constantine Jusuf
Dean is an enquisitive and smart student. He loves to share appropiate and

takes constructive criticism fairly well. His reading, comprehension, speaking and
writing skills in English have shown better progress. However; constant practice still

write the number words efficiently through dictation. In Science, he displays
enthusiasm towards the topic being discussed and eagerly expresses his ideas

Dean is a cooperative participant in a group singing. He displays good sense of
listening to the music and follow instruction to sing confidently.

Marsha Callista
Marsha is a helpful and smart learner in class. She expresses her ideas confidently
during class discussion. She manages time effeciently in accomplishing task given
and guides friends to do certain task as well as assisting teachers. She grasps the
concepts taught diligently and gain self confidence to convey her ideas and answer
questions during class discussion. Her reading, comprehension, speaking and
writing skills in English have shown better progress. However; constant practice still
needed to gain efficiency in these skills. She performs her best to do simple
operation concepts in Maths, such as ; solves simple subtraction independently,
counts forward and backward of numbers from 1-50, recognizes ascending numbers
and writes number words through dictation fairly well. In Science, she expresses her
feelings and applies knowledge learned confidently and shares her ideas based from
her experiences which are related to the topic being discussed especially in topics
about feelings and community helpers. Her fine motor skills are developing
progressively and produces creative artworks all the time. She can fulfill and follow
instructions every hands-on task in Computer. She performs very satisfactorily in
singing and recognizes numbers in Chinese Mandarin.

CCA Ballet:

Marsha is a confident dancer in ballet who takes pride in performing on stage. She
has improved her grace in dancing, however; at times, she has lack of attention
especially in listening to dance instruction. She can be a better ballet dancer if she
will focus more.
Hans Felix Datulong

Hans is an obedient with a fine conduct learner. He obeys class rules and follows
teacher’s instructions. He has shown good progress in all learning areas. He listens
attentively during class discussion, yet; to interact with enthusiasm during discussion
with his speaking voice. His reading, comprehension, speaking and writing skills in
English have shown improvement this term. However; continous practice is advised
to achieve better results. In Maths, he acquires the skills of counting forward and
backward, writing of number words and solving simple problems in subtraction. In
Science , he displays interest in dealing with the lessons , however; he is
encouraged to be proactive to engage in the topic discussion. In Bahasa Indonesia ,
he is able to read, write words and phrases and improve his writing through
dictation. Although; he needs to be confident in accomplishing tasks independently
and encourage to speak aloud to be heard clearly when expressing his ideas in
class. His fine motor skills are still developing, yet; to improve more on his
handwriting and colouring skills. He tries to cope with the lessons and excels his best
in recognizing numbers in Chinese Mandarin.

Hans is a cooperative participant in group singing. He listens attentively to the
instructions and even has difficulty to memorize the lyrics, he still strives to perform
his best.
