Conditions of the World Nomads Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance is not a Health Insurance! Please carefully read this policy
wording to understand your rights and obligations, as well as the limits
applied to the coverages.
This document contains the main characteristics, coverages and ex-
clusions of your insurance. The full terms and conditions of coverage
are contained within the Zurich Travel Insurance General Conditions,
which is available at www.worldnomads.com.br and provided to the
Insured at the time of purchase. It is advisable to read the same so
that all coverages, rights and obligations of the parties are known.
1.0 Definitions
For the effect of these insurance provisions, the following definitions are agreed:
1.1. Personal Accident: An event occurred at a characterized date, exclusively and directly
external, sudden, involuntary, violent and causing physical lesion that, on its own and
independently of all and any other cause, has as direct consequence death or total or
partial permanent disability of the Insured or that turns necessary medical treatment.
1.3. Baggage: it is considered as luggage all items/parcels owned by the Insured that
are checked and thus under the care of the air, overland or maritime transportation
Company. Important: It is not considered as baggage for the purposes of
this insurance any item/parcel not checked by the transportation Company
and that is transported under the care of the Insured (hand baggage).

3.0 Beneficiaries
3.1. Death Coverages: These will be freely determined by the Insured and are
