FORCE CLOSING OF CHECK

FORCE CLOSING OF CHECK IF CHECK IS OPENED ON R&A AND NOT OPENED ON THE
WORKSTATION/CAPS.

(YOU USE LOCATION ACTIVITY FORCE CLOSE)

STEP 1: LAUNCH YOUR DATABASE

STEP 2: GO TO LOCATION ACTIVITY

STEP 3: GO TO dbo.GUEST_CHECK; populate 200 records

STEP 4: CONFIRM THE CHECK NUMBER

STEP 5: CONFRIM THERE IS A CLOSE BUSINESS DATE VALUE (PS. Put the same date you opened the
check and the time must be 00:00:00)
STEP 6: PUT A CLOSED FIXED PERIOD (PS. Used the same figure as the OpenFixedPeriod =66)

STEP 7: PUT A CLOSE DATE AND TIME AS HIGHLIGHTED BELOW (PS. Don’t use a time earlier than the
time the check was opened.

STEP 8: SAVE

STEP 9: CHECK R&A AND SEE IF CHECK IS STILL OPEN.

IF CHECK IS OPENED ON BOTH R&A AND THE WORKSTAION/CAPS

(YOU USE LOCATION ACTIVITY FORCE CLOSE (which was used below) and MCRSPOS FORCE CLOSE
(which is described below)

STEP 1: GO TO MCRSPOS

STEP 2: GO TO dbo.CHECKS TABLE; POPULATE ABOUT 1000 RECORDS

STEP 3: SEARCH FOR THE CHECK

STEP 4: PUT IN THE TIME AND DATE ON CHECKCLOSE COLUMN


STEP 5: PUT THE CLOSED CHECK STATUS TO THE WAY ALL OTHER CLOSED CHECK STATUSES ARE (= 2)

STEP 6: SAVE

STEP 7: CONFIRM IF CHECK IS STILL OPENED ON BOTH THE WORKSTAION AND R&A.
