DAY : Tuesday
TIME : 10.30 am -11.30 am
TOPIC : A day in the life of ….
THEME : World of self, family and friends.

4.1 Form letters and words in neat legible print using cursive writing

 By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
o Write 3 sentences in the cursive writing.

o Construct 4 sentences by using these phrases with
correct spelling:

 He sometimes…..

ACTIVITY : Pre-Lesson /Set Induction:
1. Teacher recaps previous lesson with the students.
2. Teacher provides a crossword puzzle with adverbs of frequency.

3. Teacher provides students with a pyramid and students need to
arrange the adverbs according to the frequency.

4. Students check their own answers as teachers provides the


answers
5. Teacher and students discuss about the frequency of the adverbs.
Lesson Development:
6. Teacher provide students with answers sheet students are to
rewrite the sentences with adverbs of frequency from the
previous reading text.
7. Students check their answers in pairs.
8. Teacher conducts a quick scan
9. Teacher provides students with a table with activities and adverbs
of frequency. (Two different tables)
a. Table 1: With verbs and adverbs of frequency
i. Table 2: Phrases and adverbs of frequency.
10. Students need to ask two of their friends regarding 6 of the
activities.
11. Students are then required to write sentences regarding the
information they gathered in an answer sheet.
12. Students get into pairs to comments and check on their work.
13. Teacher conducts peer assessment by discussing the answers
with the whole class.
14. Students also need to provide comment about their friends’ work.
Plenary:
15. Teacher does ‘thumbs up or down’ with sentences with adverbs of
frequency being put into the pyramid in front of the classroom
16. Students makes the gesture; thumbs up for correct and thumbs
down for not
