Computer Lab’s Rules & Regulations

1) The computer lab facilities can be utilized only by students of Sekolah


Rendah Setiabudi.
2) All lab users must sign in and sign out on the time-sheet provided.
3) Students are allowed to bring only their text book and stationeries into the
Computer Lab.
4) Personal belongings should be placed in the allocated area. Students are not
allowed to place their bags in the Computer Lab. Students should take care
their own belongings. The school will not be responsible for any loss of
students’ belongings.
5) Keep the lab clean and tidy. Make sure you turn off your computer and
check your monitor, keyboard, mouse and CPU in the right place and push
in your chair before you leave the room.
6) Strictly no personal pen-drive allowed except from your teacher permission.
Students will be suspended if any personal pen-drive is found and it will be
confiscated. This is to ensure that PCs in the lab are not contaminated with
virus.
7) Silence must be observed at all times. Any essential discussions must be held
discreetly.
8) A4 paper is only available for students to print their documents.
9) Students are allowed to use all software installed in the computers. If any
student changes the setting of any software, he/she must change the setting
back to the original position before leaving the Computer Lab. Punishment
if failing to do so.
10) Students are not allowed to install any software without written approval
from the school management.
11) Students should utilize the Internet services for educational purposes. They
are strictly not allowed to access censored materials and negative
information.
12) All students should store their documents in their computer to avoid loss of
data. The school will not be responsible for any loss of data in the computer
hard disk.
13) No food and drinks are allowed in the Computer Lab.
14) Unauthorized computer games programs are prohibited. Students caught
playing such games will be suspended.

Any students found infringing the


rules stated above will be liable to
suspension for 1 week or more.
