Poly-Fluid:
Poly-Fluid is a synthetic drilling granular polymer characterized by high molecular weight. It is
mainly used for the preparation of stabilizing and lubricating mud in drilling for Deep Foundations
like Piling, Diaphragm Wall etc. Poly-fluid is easy to prepare and is fully degradable non- toxic and
safe for environment.
Poly-Clear:
Poly-Clear as the name suggests is a dispersant that acts as a catalyst for the sedimentation and
cleaning processes of excavation and sedimentation tanks. It also acts as thinner in water based
drilling fluids.
Poly-Matrix:
Poly-Matrix is a liquid cross-linking Polymer. It helps to bind the soil particles and reinforce the
overall stability of the excavation. Poly-Matrix helps in increasing the suspension properties of the
slurry for challenging ground conditions.
1. Slurry Plant:
Set up for Poly-Fluid slurry plant to be done considering pile volume and desired production. For
mixing of Poly-Fluid we recommend the usage of Positive Displacement Pumps. The supply and
retrieving lines of 4 to 6 inch pipes should be used. Proper slurry agitation can be provided by
using a compressed air system.
2. Mixing:
Before mixing Poly-Fluid, fresh water is to be treated with Sodium Hydroxide/Soda Ash at a
dosage of 0.5Kg/m3 to regulate the pH to 10-12. Poly-Fluid polymer is then slowly mixed directly
in the flow of water at a dosage of 0.8 to 1Kg/m3 of water. Viscosity of the slurry after adding
recommended dosage of Poly-Fluid will range from 55-70 sec (API Marsh Funnel). The Poly-Fluid
slurry can now be used for excavation.

4. Excavation/Drilling:
Prepared POLY-FLUID slurry is to be pumped to the excavation to stabilize the bore. A minimum
of 3m of overhead pressure to be maintained during the excavation all the time. Compensation
Basin/Slurry Pool is recommended to maintain the slurry level drop while retraction of the
excavation tool.
During challenging ground conditions POLY-MATRIX can be mixed directly into the excavation as
recommended by our Technical Team.
After reaching the final depth, a cleaning bucket is used for removing all the settled particles.
Collect a sample from the bottom of the excavation to check for the above recommended
parameters. POLY-CLEAR can be used for faster sedimentation and for reducing the Density and
Sand Content.
5. Recycling:
POLY-FLUID slurry recovered after concreting is stored back to the tanks. The slurry can be used
again after readjusting the parameters to the recommended values. The adjustment can be done
by adding POLY-FLUID polymer directly into the excavation or in mixing tank.
