    This project provides instructions to build an arcade cabinet to house a Raspberry Pi-based retro gaming system. The design includes space for a display, buttons/joysticks, speakers, and illuminated marquee.

    The materials needed include 19mm plywood, plexiglass for the display panel, buttons, joysticks, speakers, and an LED strip for the marquee. Additional components are a Raspberry Pi and wiring.

    Bevel cuts are made on some of the plywood pieces to create angled edges. The plans also include diagrams of how to cut the plywood sheet to yield all the necessary parts.

    Important Building Note:

    After you cut your parts out and the cut the necessary bevels, there’s a really good chance your final measurements will
    differ from those laid out in the plans. That’s absolutely OK. The final shape of your cabinet will be transferred to the
    cabinet sides and those will be cut last. So use the cut list as your starting point and don’t worry if your numbers differ
    slightly from the plans.
