PART A - Plan (About 2-3 pages)

Format for Micro-Project Proposal

For 1st To 4th Semester

Title of Micro-Project
Program to convert hexadecimal number to equivalent BCD numbers and converting BCD
numbers to equivalent hexadecimal numbers

1.0 Brief Introduction

In computing and electronic systems, binary-coded decimal (BCD) is a class of binary encodings
of decimal numbers where each decimal digit is represented by a fixed number of bits, usually four or
eight. Hexadecimal(also base 16, or hex) is a positional numeral system with a radix, or base, of 16. It uses
sixteen distinct symbols, most often the symbols "0"–"9" to represent values zero to nine, and "A"–"F"
(or alternatively "a"–"f") to represent values ten to fifteen.

2.0 Aim of the Micro-Project

This Micro-Project aims at
1. To convert the hexadecimal numbers into BCD numbers
2. to convert the BCD numbers into hexadecimal numbers
3. To run the output on console
