June Software Engineer, Samsung Research and Development Institute, Bangalore (India).
2018–Present Automatic Speech Recognition, Language Modelling
o Developed statistical language models for Bixby, Samsung’s voice-powered virtual assistant;
accented for American, British and Indian English;
o Experimented various big data approaches for Language Modelling tasks, thereby reducing the Word
Error Rate (WER) by a substantial amount;
o Worked on big data projects aimed to streamline the audio data extraction process for training and
improvement of the statistical Language Models for Bixby voice assistant;
May–July Software Intern, Samsung Research and Development Institute, Bangalore (India).
2017 Analytics Team, Bixby 1.0, Samsung's voice-powered virtual assistant;
o Developed an analytical dashboard representing various data statistics of the vast number of user
utterances received each day. Thus, enhancing the selection of fields necessary for improvement of
speech recognition accuracy. The dashboard found many uses as the development of Bixby 1.0 was
in it's nascent stages, thereby getting recognition from higher management of the Project;
o The development of analytical dashboard incorporated full stack development with Node.js
technology for server side data handling;
o Received a Pre-Placement Oﬀer in recognition of my eﬀorts.
Key Academic Projects

Fault detection and test pattern generation
Asst. Prof. Mrs. Tanusree Kaibartta, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad
o Study of test pattern generation algorithm namely Genetic Algorithm and D algorithm.
The test patterns generated using automatic test pattern generator is used to detect the faults in the
circuit and in some cases it assists in finding the cause of the failure too;
o Study of various fault detection methods: Scan chain and time frame expansion. The study involves
identifying whether a fault has occurred, and pinpointing the type of fault and its location in the circuit.
Text extraction and translation
Asst. Prof. Ms Shweta R. Malwe, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad
o The project aimed at incorporating concepts of ML along with python and OpenCV libraries to detect
and extract text from given multiple images. Worked on MATLAB in order to visualize different
algorithms to detect text which includes the algorithms of linear regression and SVM(support vector
machine);
o Extended the project into developing a tool aimed to extract readable material from a given image
and translate it into desired language using OpenCV libraries.
Web development and social interacting platform
Asst. Prof. Ms Shweta R. Malwe, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad
o Developed fundamental skills in full stack development(back-end and front-end). Created a website
for an NGO named Kartavya that takes the initiative to teach less privileged students;
o Exploring the same domain, created a platform that will allow users to interact with fellow users over
intranet or local server. The project requires application of PHP and CodeIgniter (web framework of
PHP).

o Participant in REduce, REuse, REcycle (part 1) project that aimed at spreading awareness in order
to conserve natural resources, landfill space and energy.
o The campaign was carried forward through various means such as digital awareness programmes,
public meet ups, and enlightening the students by visiting them at different schools.

o In Plant vocational Trainee in RJIL IDC Jamnagar. Positioned under JIO NOC(Network operations
centre) as an ongoing IT operations trainee. During my training I was introduced to various Security
