Q1. Please give a brief outline about SAP Course.


SAP today is the global leader in business applications and analytics software, a
market leader in digital commerce, and the world’s largest enterprise cloud
company with over 130 million cloud users.

SAP solutions help customers address technology trends such as cloud computing,
Big Data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence that go hand in hand
with the social trends that are changing how we live and work.

Majority of the World's largest companies uses SAP ERP. In India also majority of large
companies using Enterprise ERP use the SAP systems / software. Even government
organizations in India use SAP. People working in these organizations have to use or
operate SAP system(s) to perform their business functions.

The SAP FICO - Power User Course will provide the students the basic idea of SAP
and its Financial Accounting and Management Accounting processes. Students will
learn concepts of how to use and operate SAP finance and CO modules and will be
introduced to SAP Finance integrations with other modules like MM, SD and
Production.

 During the training, every student will have access to e-learning repository
which a student can use to gain in depth knowledge. Student will be
provided with a unique password protected ID to SAP portal.
 Institute will provide additional knowledge support of 100 hours of learning
resources through doubt clearing contact classes in certain locations, live
webinar classes, recorded classes and sufficient knowledge resources for the
benefit of the students.
 Joint Certification of ICAI & SAP to be provided after successful completion.

Q12. What is the teaching-learning methodology?


It is a mixture of Online and Off-line teaching-learning components [Please refer
Q11].
Q13. What will be the tentative timings for contact classes?

Day Classroom Training by Faculties

Saturday 2 hrs.
Sunday 3 - 4 hrs.

Q14. What will be the locations of study centers of contact classes?


Presently we have identified 8 locations - Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune,
Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. We may increase the locations
depending upon the demand.

Q15. Who will be the Course trainer?


Expert trainers from SAP domain will be the trainers.

Q16. Will there be any assessment process at the end of the course?
Institute will conduct an assessment test at the end of the Program.

Q17. Who will provide certification at the end of the course?


It will be a joint certification – Institute and SAP.

Q18. When the first batch will commence?


First batch is scheduled to be commenced from end of October 2019.

Q19. Is there any placement opportunities?


Institute is having a vibrant Placement Cell. Placement assistance may be provided
as per the requirement from the industry.

Q20. How long online access for e-learning facilities to be provided to the students?
Students will get sufficient time period to access online e-learning facility.

Q21. Can students be trained with case studies?


Yes.
Q22. Does Institute provide any study material?
Online materials will be provided. However, faculty members may provide off-line
learning resources also.

Q23. Can the students interact with the faculty members/ trainers even after the
completion of the course, in case of any difficulties?
Yes. We are having a dedicated mail id [sap.advstudies@icmai.in] for this Course.
You may send your queries here and expert faculty members will resolve your
queries within 48 hours.

Q24. Is attendance mandatory at contact classes?


No. But it is recommended to attend the contact classes to have better
understanding on the subject.

Q25. How can a student pursue this Course from a remote place where no study
centre exists?
You have to pursue the Course only in online mode [100 hours]. Besides, we will
provide webinar/recorded classes/lecture notes which can be accessed by you
online.

Q26. Can members of the Institute get CEP hours to attend this course?
Yes. We will announce the exact CEP hours to be provided later on.

Q27. Does Institute require any minimum number of students to start a batch in a
particular location?

We require at least 15 students to start a batch in a particular location.
