Reflection in UCSP
Far away with my family is a sacrifice and I realized to become an athlete is
really hard. In the training I learned many things. I was able to develop a wide variety of skills that enables me as an athlete to engage in healthy living activities. I was able to think creatively and imaginatively about how to play each game and I was encouraged to value skill development as a determinant of optimal play. I was able to learn how to play with others so well to improve. In the training I was taught to participate with confidence, knowing the tactical and strategic dimensions of each game. To apply tactics and skills to the dynamics and artfulness of play and encouraged us to apply effort to skill and play performance and to respect the power of collective effort and ensures to play fair. I was able to understand how giving everyone opportunities to improve playing. I was encouraged to play with others as teammates or opponents and recognize the value of teamwork and to experience affiliation with others through physical pursuits. In the game, I was encouraged to work with other participants to develop strategies for success. I was able to value camaraderie with fellow players value the sense of connection and belongingness associated with group/team play. With almost 42 days which I am away with my family I learn how to be myself and experienced the reward of playing with enthusiasm and play in ways that build other players’ skills and confidence: I was able to experience how to play competitively but with humility and respect for opponents, and lose with dignity. And lastly, encourage us to support other team/group members, whatever the performance outcome.
