Q1. The angles of a triangle are in AP and the greatest is 5 times the least. Express the angles

in radians and degrees.

Q2. A train is travelling at the rate of 20 kmph on a circular curve of half a km radius. Through what
angle has it turned in 10 seconds ?

Q3. If a minute-hand is 54˚ ahead of hour-hand in a watch when the time is between 7 and 8
o’clock, find the time shown by the watch.

Q4. If sin ( A + B + C ) = cos ( C + A – B ) = tan ( A + B – C ) = 1, find A, Band C, if all are


positive acute angles.

Q10. Prove that in any ∆ ABC :

(i) sin (A + B) = sin C (ii) cos(B + C)/2 = sin A/2

(i) If cos A = 1/7, cos B = 13/14, A and B < 900, then A –B = 600
